Apparently the the case was F&F against a Tobacco company and the claims were basically individual testimonies.
Big Tob often uses shady legal practices, and tried to make them able to verify all the statements.. which they were unable to.
So either F&F made them up, or they got played. Each are pretty viable.
F&F seem to be a average level lawfirm based on online feedback so I would think it's just they got played. Big T got some of the best lawyers in the world.
