I admit I doubted AEW at first, but they are proving me wrong. AEW is already a resounding success. The TV deal is huge and will completely change the wrestling industry. DON was a major hit on PPV, and Fyter Fest drove hundreds of thousands to sign up for B/R Live. They have a stacked roster, which was only made better by stealing two of WWE's biggest mainstream stars, Jericho and Moxley. On top of all that, it's already one of the most progressive and socially-conscious brands in the world. AEW is on fire right now, and I would not be surprised if they surpass WWE within two or three years.

Now we wait for the E-ncel BOIL

How is this different from TNA? They had Milfie Carter throwing her dad's money at it to sign big wrestling names. Here we have Khan using his dad's money to hire Cody's friends. What will make this take off more than Impact or Ring of Honor

The wrestling is "actually good" and not an overbooked mess trying to emulate WWE's Monday Night formula?

>I watch WWE except its on TNT

COPE

Fyter fest was gash tbqhwyf

So far there have been a couple of good matches, the rest has been forgettable or just outright bad. They even wasted Moxley's first match on a random deathmatch with some backyard manlet. Overbooked is one thing, but just having things happening for no reason is another

Except that deathmatch was based and is exactly what Moxley was known for.

you actually weren't wrong until you said they have a stacked roster, it's not very stacked unless they can succeed in creating names

I hope they have a warning message at the start of the show telling people that wrestling is fake and not to worry about the safety of the performers and also the heels don't really intend to be mean

and that no actual weapons objects that could cause harm were used in the production of the show

>stacked roster
His name is Darby Anus

>exactly what Moxley was known for.
This is true Dean was known long before WWE for rolling in garbage and being a complete shitter

this. forget the pretense. this is the podcast era. as matter of fact they need to do live podcasts in the ring after the main event.

Except each match actually feels different, with different personalities and styles clashing - not the same exact match formula with the signatures and finishers swapped out.

For AEW? They've all felt like WWE matches or indieriffic Young Bucks matches. Even their big hardcore match was just a WWE match.

Same, it's amazing how quickly they're gaining momentum. I hope they make it big and put wwmeme down for good.

your meme sucks
give up

>The wrestling is "actually good"

No it's not. It's trash, just like WWE.
Watch NJPW or CMLL. Get a clue.

>progressive and socially-conscious
You drew some (You)'s from the jabroni marks, so this troll OP gets a 6/10.

>Except each match actually feels different, with different personalities and styles clashing
This only applies to New Japan. AEW is basic-bitch NPC wrestling.

if they are so progressive how come JR was talking about "orientals" loving to kick people in the head? that was hugely insensitive. they never acknowledged or apologised.

No it's not.
i can name 5 other "actually good" promotion

fuck off Cody

>The wrestling is "actually good"
WOOOOOW THEY DID A FLIPPY WIPPY 450 CIRQUE DU SOLEIL ONE WINGED V-SPLASH FIGHT FOREVER BING BONG WAHOOOOOOO

Ya absolutely fumin lil guy, holy fucking shit.

worked

werked

>W-worked
Ya can't dig your way out of this hole my man.

wizerked

yeah ya seething

Workrate will never EEEEEVEEEER be a draw. Larger than life personalities, psychology and storylines that expand out of the ring and arena draws casuals.

worked. thanks for the (You) faggot

based

>that feel when despite never going to reddit of your own volition, you've been on Yea Forums for so long and have read so many shitty posts copy-pasted from reddit that you can immediately discern when something was copy-pasted from reddit without having to even google it to check
Anyway OP, go kill yourself.

Ok, so the matches on Double or Nothing all felt like the same match with different people. Got it.

Early TNA was based and redpilled

haha! Anus. That's actually funny ngl.

I'd say NJPW > AEW > WWE in terms of diff. match styles

>The wrestling is "actually good"
Imagine thinking midgets doing C tier lucha moves and kicking out of everything is "actually good"

Imagine typing this for free

TNA caters to more demographics, AEW is smark central so if you're not a hardcore smark you'll get pretty much nothing out of the show.

That's the main difference between the two companies, AEW has a much easier job they simply please smarks who are already easy to please and almost nobody has a gimmick for them to create. TNA creates alot of storylines and they can make genuinely good characters who don't rely on ring work to get attention.
