My god I just got chills watching this for the first time in years again. Today fucking shitters can do a million neck bumps and I could care less if they died.

Holy cumola

You know deep down Meltzer HATES this match no matter what he says.

He's always hated Hogan because Hogan was a bigger draw than Ric Flair.

Is Meltz a natureboy fag? Kinda based ngl

fuck meltzers fake tough guy ass. he aint shit.

>both were the greatest hits matches
>both did bare minimum
>both get carried by insane crowd
>Meltzer rates one ***
>his drones parrot by giving scores as low as 4 to 5/10
>Meltzer rates the other one *****
>his drones parrot by giving it score of 8-10

>HE BEAT ANDRE THE GIANT WITH THAT MOVE

absolutely hate these two but i watched it for the first time the other day and it was based esp how hogan was like fuck it and did a face turn on the fly

>He's always hated Hogan because Hogan was a bigger draw than Ric Flair.

This is literally made up but ok

>HE BEAT ANDRE THE GIANT WITH THAT MOVE

JR better say ‘HE BEAT STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN WITH THAT MOVE’ when calling one of Jerichos matches

>crowd already in a frenzy
>Hulkster drops the big leg
>the roof fucking explodes off the place
Where did it all go wrong? A man could literally die in the ring today and get less reaction.

I always thought the leaf crowd went nuts because WCW didn't tour Canada frequently and they hadn't seen hogan live for a about decade. Well, that and the fact that it was a match that would and could never happen in the eyes of a 90s fan.

>the marking for Rock kicking out because they want more
sucks that NOBODY will ever be able to replicate this emotion

Such a based call.

The promo packages leading up to the match and the match itself are what I unironically show someone who has never seen wrestling. It helps that literally everyone has heard of Hulk Hogan and ofcourse people recognize the Rock as a movie star. My favorite match ever

Double posting like a fag but just wanted to add that I love the look on Hogan's face when they are facing off at the beginning of the match and they turn to the crowd, where Hogan sees this giant throwback poster of him, full blown 80s coked out of his mind version of himself. He gets this smirk on his face that hits me in the feels every time.

Overrated match hyped up by the boomers in the crowd. If you put that same exact match on today, it would be silent. Okada vs Kenny blows it out the water

Why does a autistic body builder live in your head rent free?

>Okada vs Kenny blows it out the water
Whose are those nobodies?

But Jericho never used the Judas effect on Austin

Even in the height of Rocks career the crowd betrayed him for the white heel for the second WM in a row, im so glad these white trash "fans" no longer watch wrestling

It was like Rocky Marciano vs Muhammad Ali.

this fucking line gets me every time. fuck me jr was da bes

Have sex.

No. This was.
But Hogan-Rock is in the top 3.

>the crowd betrayed him for the white heel for the second WM in a row
Stone Cold was a face at Mania 17 ya maek

And it's probably Austin vs Hart at WM13 to complete that top 3.

Based.

The 2nd best part of that match is right at the start when Hogan just pushed Rock out of the lock up and onto the mat then flexes and the crowd loses it.

More reaction for the most basic shit then any indy shitter gets in their whole career. The Lesnar Goldberg match from a couple years ago at Wrestlamania was similar as well(Although nowhere neat on the level of Rock/Hogan).

Meltzer calls Hogan a ridiculous carny and one of the best wrestlers in history, both of which are true statements
