"It was reported over the weekend that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson had both decided to renew their WWE contracts. The pair reportedly penned new five-year deals with the company.
Since then, PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson has reported that the Good Brothers seemed intent on leaving after rejecting WWE’s initial offer. However, the tandem were persuaded by the promise of a new push."
>Promise of a new push >Literally can't even go one week without losing a 2 v 1 against Ricochet
It's going to be a long, long 5 years for Guns & Gallows.
if i was a wrestler no one could lock me in for 5 fucking years 3 max
Juan Thompson
Okay, where's the push? They got buried in week #2.
Nicholas Hall
It wasnt the promise of a push, it was more money you retard. Plus, I imagine they care more about being in a top act with AJ than winning on their own.
Zachary Gomez
>Push Already jobbing to Ass-finger
Easton Richardson
>WHY ARE THEY GIVING RICOCHET A PUSH I WANT MY 50/50 BOOKING Especially if AJ is going to win the title Sunday it makes perfect sense for him to go over big tonight
Cameron Brown
Teaming with AJ could be considered their push (similar to teaming Ryder/Hawkins with Edge). Plus it's what they've wanted since AJ debuted - can't believe Vince kept it from them until he couldn't say no.
Joshua Carter
Heyman is rebooting The Club as a heel version of The Shield. They're big on Ricochet so this angle is important. The Club will be the major heels on RAW going forward. There will be more than 3 members at some point though
Alexander Phillips
>trusting Vince >ever
He will job them out the next few weeks, then they will disappear from tv for several months.
Kayden Parker
This, this is very likely.
Landon Nguyen
All I want is Brock or Cena in the club and WWE will be worth watching again
Hudson Kelly
A few days ago I was autistic enough to imagine a storyline where everybody started to forms big factions within the WWE and that's what I imagined for the Club. What do you think of this line up?
This. Imagine thinking they have a shot when Mike and Maria Kanellis got a cuck angle LAST WEEK just days after re-signing. Vince wants you locked in then you're back to being his autistic plaything, nobody's getting 'pushed'.
Colton Thomas
Nobody used the term 'mark contract' before your post user, you seem confused. OP called them marks because they signed a contract with the 'promise of a new push'. It's a mark move but not a 'mark contract', that's more akin to what Matt Riddle or Kushida have in NXT right now. A contract that pays little but gives you 'exposure'.
Henry Thompson
>because they signed a contract with the 'promise of a new push' different user here, but where is "promise of a new push" come from? cause there is no promotion on earth are offering them $2.5 million each in 5 years is the reason they signed.
>a mark move is literally doing something based on emotion instead of logic. Taking a pay cut now to make double tomorrow is a logical move. Taking a pay cut to win a fake title or work matches for star ratings are mark moves.
Angel Mitchell
AEW has been giving people the best contracts of their careers. Even if that isn't the case for Gallows and Anderson, they'd be working drastically less, they'd be able to be with their families, and have some creative input on the thing they love to do. I would take a small pay cut if I didn't have to pound my joints into dust wrestling for 30 people at a house show every day
Parker Myers
>Leave WWE >Go to NJPW or AEW or any other remotely "big" company whre they allow you to be yourself >Become a star >Get an even better wwe contract
They are marks
Zachary Gray
the only one on the roster that used to work for wwe and is getting the best money of his career is jericho you retard and he's a loss leader because they need the name recognition
Connor Rivera
They guy that shoves his fingers up his butt?? Thats who WWE is big on?
Zachary Kelly
>i will pay you tuesday for a hamburger today
Evan Ross
>AEW has been giving people the best contracts of their careers. Well if you're Darby Anus, yes, getting paid anything is the best contract of your "career". Hell getting paid 5 hotdogs and a handshake is an improvement.
Hudson Hill
Yeap. Unironically they're pushing Ricochet to get the teen smark audience that they think AEW fans comprise. Just let that sink in....
Adam Kelly
Roode is looking real jacked
Owen Lopez
Your first sentence was mildly funny and true. The second was a bombed attempt at being funny and ruined your post. Stop after the first next time
Joshua Powell
Money and miles
Daniel Baker
I'm sure you'll have the same opinion of your kids one day.
Asher Smith
>AEW has been giving people the best contracts of their careers. WWE is literally giving their bottom of the barrels guy $500k a year for 5 years, nobody in AEW is getting that apart from the executives and moxley.
> they'd be working drastically less, If they are working drastically less in WWE< they'll be unemployed.
>they'd be able to be with their families they can literally retire in 5 years and never have to work or bump another day.
>have some creative input on the thing they love to do. This is something a fucking mark would say.
>I would take a small pay cut if I didn't have to pound my joints into dust wrestling for 30 people at a house show every day They are in WWE not Impact where their biggest show of the year is the size of an NXT house show.
Karl is 42 yo with 4 kids and a hot asian wife, he doesn't want to work in Japan anymore. Only marks care about being a star instead of making money.
They're fucking garbage right now but they were unironically great in NJPW. They looked like a much bigger deal when they were actually in Bullet Club and people were excited thinking they were going to see this again. Even in this picture alone, they have far more charisma than they do in WWE.
Decent tag in NJPW and Karl Anderson is legit good as a singles. The machine gun mp3 he uses for his taunt is one of the best things in wrestling
Joseph Powell
>WWE is literally giving their bottom of the barrels guy $500k a year for 5 years, nobody in AEW is getting that apart from the executives and moxley. False. Moxley and Jericho make at least twice that >If they are working drastically less in WWE< they'll be unemployed. The fuck does that even mean? >they can literally retire in 5 years and never have to work or bump another day. The same would be the case if they worked for AEW >They are in WWE not Impact where their biggest show of the year is the size of an NXT house show. WWE has no audience left at this point
Dude I'm not the other user but the sheer amount of fucking mouth breathing stupidity you just displayed made me jump in. So let me take the hot tag here >False. Moxley and Jericho make at least twice that He said and you quoted it "apart from the executives and moxley." So Mox is already in there and Jericho is basically part of management. He has creative freedom. Works when he wants (He wasnt at Fyghter Fest) and will probably job to whoever they want to out the title on. >>If they are working drastically less in WWE< they'll be unemployed. >The fuck does that even mean? He means thats most of the guys who are signed to WWE hardly get on air anyway. >>they can literally retire in 5 years and never have to work or bump another day. >The same would be the case if they worked for AEW No because again aside from the top 5 guys no one else is retiring on AEW money. You think Darby Anus is pulling in anything aside from a hotdog with some mustard on it? >WWE has no audience left at this point They are losing people but the neilsen ratings is measure in the MILLIONS friendo. That means when they say it got a 1.6 It means a million and a half eyeballs watched. Seriously if you disagree that's fine but read for fucks sake. Then type
