Copied and pasted from another site because I'm lazy;
>Wilkes Barre, PA. About 1,500 in attendance.
>Becky pinned Lacey with a Becksploder >Uso’s/Hawkins and Ryder beat Revival and Viking War Raider Experience. >Ricochet beat Cesaro and AJ Styles in a three way. Styles was snarling at the crowd and not high-fiving the kids, so you know he’s EVIL again. >Gallows/Anderson and Sad EC3 beat Lucha House Party. Poor LHP was booed after the match heavily. >Natalya and Naomi beat Logan and Tamina. Blah. >Main Event- Seth over Baron in a street fight, after interference from Lacey and Becky.
>Big Breakfast Baron and Seth aren’t exactly packing houses...
holy crap, imagine beign a e-drone and try to defend this shit
Ryder Lopez
NOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT THE FUCK !!! WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE BIG LEAGUES WHATS GOING ON ???!! THEY WORK THEIR ASSES OFF DAY IN DAY OUT !!! WHY CAN'T THEY DRAW ??? WHYYY ??? WHAT THE FUCK ECHADS IS THIS AEW THING A THREAT ??!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!
Here are some really important points for morons who see these pictures and jump to conclusions:
1) this is still insanely profitable for WWE. 1500 people. Conservatively the tickets were 40 dollars each on average. Parking was 10. 50 in merch. And from my experience food is overpriced there so let’s say 100 bucks (half of what I spent last time I went). 200 bucks times 1500 is 300k profit.
2) far more than AEW would draw in similar situations
3) WWE is basically printing money at this point due to lucrative TV deals. Even if they only drew half of this, the WWE TV deals would make up the difference.
Joshua Hall
Wow just look at that card!
Why are they doing shows in a high school gym though
I can see why you’re angry - 2 people in love who will be intimate tonight. Exactly what AWEtists fear!
John Morris
god I hate boomers
Brody Thompson
half true
1. no, it's not "insanely profitable", it's profitable to moderately profitable at best, but still profitable.
2. probably
3. WWE is not "printing money", they're anxiously comfortable in a downturn for the business. Your point about how if this show only drew half as much then WWE would somehow make more money from tv deals to cover it doesn't make logical sense. Their tv deals are set, frequently failing to draw a decent house doesn't add to their profit it definitely and obviously detracts from it and also from their image to potential future providers
I agree these kinds of posts like OPs are stupid but let's not get carried away with cope
Cooper Lewis

OH NO NO NO NO NO. I feel kind of shitty laughing at old people but Jesus.
>revenue and profit are the same DUHHHHHBLLLPFFFFFF
Jason Davis
>Parking >Food & Drink That's all the arena's money.
Justin Cooper
Since it's legit been confirmed the average WWE fan is 55+ years old, what's going to happen after they die? All the Zoomers I know cringe at wrestling and would rather be watching basketball or other bulbasaur shit. Will the Saudis and Pajeets unironically save WWE?
>Cesaro jobbing to a mulatto twink homosexual The E is legit stupid as fuck
Dominic Harris
OH NO NO NO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE AUDITORIUM
Nathan Stewart
Don't worry that's the hardcam side

Holy shit this is literally a BINGO HALL After mocking the indies all these years
Nolan Cox
did you think they ran house shows out of arenas all the time?
Parker Ward
They have to rent the arena, they have to pay staff to assemble the ring, they have to pay for the wrestlers travel and hotel rooms, etc. There is a FUCK TON of overheard. I doubt they broke even.
WCW was pulling more than 1,500 per house show in their last year.
>he thinks the hirer gets money from parking & concessions. lol. a one-off hirer will only get a percentage of the ticket sales OR they have to pay up front and then get the ticket sales ONLY.
Adrian Bailey
>he doesn’t know about union employees in union states
Just stop.
Noah Smith
Anyone mind showing a picture from the show while it was rolling? I want to know how they tried to hide or mask the crowd shortage.
Camden Nguyen
>I want to know how they tried to hide or mask the crowd shortage.
they wouldn't bother for a house show
Logan Russell
>I want to know how they tried to hide or mask the crowd shortage.
OP here. From what I found on social media, they dimmed the lights and blacked out the crowd during the matches. I'm not sure if they do this at every live event.
Jaxson Lee
Well it would be fine if they weren't opposite sex. Fuck breeders ew.
AEW for life!
Justin Robinson
I never understood why people go to house shows.
Leo Powell
She's perfect for Ricochet.

>Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania That city is small as fuck. Do you seriously think AEW would fare any better?
Why did WWE even go there?
Robert Kelly
WWE takes half the gate, all the merch, but none of the parking or concessions you fucking drone.
Holy fucking simpoli. Before you try and argue, I've negotiated with venues for events before, I know how it works.
Kayden Wilson
some jannetty cities don't get tv tapings or ppv's very often, especially those outside larger states
Ryan Phillips
literally their target audience today, old people with grand kids specifically
I'm most upset at sad EC3 out of all that news. They massacred my boy.
Kayden Bell
Imagine being so dumb that you don't even know that you are this dumb
Samuel Hughes
Dimming the crowd is pretty normal for these size venues. On TV they normally have the blue and red lighting instead of black. I thought it was weird that NJPW didn’t do it on their last show because they do it on literally every show they can as well. Dimming the crowd and lightning the ring makes the show easier to watch. Totally normal thing.
Liam Roberts
Unironically you need to have sex. Maybe then you will spend your time more wisely
Jaxon Fisher
YOU CANT MAKE THIS UP
Sebastian Barnes
Maybe EC3 is going to join the new Bullet Club with the Good Brothers and AJ?
What really amazing that these wrestlers have no shame. They do their taunts and promos to entire section of empty seats and none of them think "wow this is kinda sad and a problem"
Literally no shame or self respect. The personality of this generation is just awful
Angel King

This was probly earlier. I was in that section.
Yeah fuck that, also it was a double main event for the titles. They're not losing the titles and I wasn't losing to traffic.
Isaiah Cook
I wonder if it frustrates him seeing it so empty while being the "top" guy
Juan Mitchell
This is why you pay your dues at the bingo halls, you get used to it.

I’m just sad the locker room didn’t make their day by posing with them in a group photo.
