Which one needs to make the call?
Which one needs to make the call?
harold obviously
they lost omega and pushing a lame white guy that can't even do flips
How the fuck did Harold even get into NJPW as their CEO as a fucking no-name gajin
Asp will say the khans just to be contrarian but anyone with a brain will see that harold needs to make the call, especially after that abysmal audience last night. You can say that NJPW doesn’t care about American audiences all you want but that’s simply not true. NJPW wants an expansion and will continue pursuing one
Tony. NJPW is still seeing record success whether the US expansion succeeds or not. they dominate their primary market in Japan. anything outside of that is a bonus for them. AEW on the other hand is still getting off the ground and honestly has driven people away with the indie carny shit in their pre-shows and at fyter fest. if they are going to deliver on what they promised originally and give a sports based show, they're gonna need NJPW
Yakuza
Meij isn’t a no-name gaijin. He helped a number of companies in Japan to thrive. He also appeared on Japanese TV shows before.
Did really well as the COO of Takara Tomy.
>He helped a number of companies in Japan to thrive
such as
>driven people away
Maybe if you keep saying it, it’ll come true.
NJPW shouldn't touch something this new and AEW shouldn't need a crutch this early. In a year when AEW has been on tv for a little while it will be more clear.
Heineken, Unilever and Coke. Big one was turning around Tomy.
Takara Tomy and Cola I presume.
>honestly has driven people away with the indie carny shit in their pre-shows and at fyter fest.
Maybe old boomers, i saw vidya fags being hype at Kenny cosplaying at Akuma
Fyter fest was a house show that got streamed for free. Kenny did the same thing during the 2018 CEO weekend with New Japan.
anyone who was on the fence and trying it as an alternative to wwe cringed and turned it off
vidya fags are already the same fags watching wrestling. they aren't making any new fans or winning anyone back that gave up on wwe and was looking for something new. they're running in place.
NJPW doesn't need AEW or Ring of Honor.
How does a deal with AEW benefit NJPW?
Honestly if that was the maximum size of their audience like 10k+ weebs/video game fans that allow them to sell out moderately big shows i would be happy, thats enough to make some profit and still run a decent show without catering to brainless fucking wwe casuals
>Fyter fest was a house show that got streamed for free
you're proving my point. first impressions go a long way and this was a first impression for a lot of people. wouldn't you want to give them a reason to watch rather than a reason not to? the average person doesn't like cringe vidya and wrestling "comedy". they're shooting themselves in the foot.
>the average person doesn't like cringe vidya

You forgot the part they want those brainless WWE casuals
I don't want AEW shitters in njpw
Gets them on TNT and gets them AEW talent at US shows, both of which will lead to better gates in the US. As of right now, there's nobody in AEW they don't already have access to (Jericho, Moxley, Omega) that would lead to any tangible increased business in Japan, but that could change. There are Japanese fans that are paying attention to AEW too.
Maybe they will change their mind after seeing what kind of braindead vegetables they are
They need those braindead vegetables to justify their television deal.
I dont care, i am speaking from a "'"fan""" perspective
Fucking google
>In 1987 he joined Heineken Japan, then moved to Unilever Japan, Sunstar, and in 2006 was Senior Vice President of Coca-Cola Japan until joining Tomy in 2014, where he became the Chief Operating Officer, and in 2015 he became the President and CEO, thereby becoming one of the first foreign nationals to lead a first-section listed Japanese company.
>Meij successfully turned the loss making company around, and its latest financial results is showing greatly improved profitability (year ending March 2017), and their stock has more than tripled. He introduced innovative new ideas such as placing “Gacha” toy capsule machines at airports, initiated numerous collaboration and licensing projects with other companies, introduced numerous toy lines based on original animation, comic and film content, and worked on improving brand strength.
>Known for his marketing and promotional savviness, Meij has used his marketing and management base built over time working at multinational companies such as Heineken, Unilever and Coca-Cola with success to a Japanese company. Known to be fluent in Japanese, the Nikkei even went so far as to say he had the “Steve Jobs Effect”
There, he's the Japanese Steve Jobs
Get’s them national exposure idiot. Literally the most important thing for a wrestling company
They should be real forward thinking and try to secure the Chinese market before OWE gets off the ground and while AEW & WWE is busy with each other.
Who gives a fuck about the oversaturated American market
>hello is this Harold from New Japan Wrestlings?
>would you like rosterings of nobodies for your next pay per viewings?
