The Rock wasn't a flippy guy, but he was athletic as fuck. He wasn't a great wrestler, but he moved really well in the ring for a guy his size. He also had the machismo and the selling that 99% of current wrestling lacks.

By all logic, The Rock shouldn't have become one of the most beloved and top drawing babyface. His gimmick is that of a loudmouth overconfident jock that shits on people because he can that everyone in school just wants to see get beaten up, but the fact that he made it work just speaks to how once in a lifetime generational talent he is.

Corporate Rock with his deep voice, sideburns, slower paced talking and movements and 500 dollar shirts is better than Hollywood any day

People always say creative control, TV14 and WCW wars is what made the Attitude Era great but most of it was gay as fuck. What made the Attitude Era great was The Rock and Austin. Without them, it would have been a clown show and WCW would have won easily.
