Becky loses to Asuka who has turned heel along with Kairi. The pair of them spend a couple of months beating the shit out of people who they feel are favoured, regardless of whether they are a heel or a face, to use the real life sidelining as a bit of weight to the storyline. Eventually they start on Becky, with a match lined up for the next ppv which Becky loses.

Seth loses to Nakamura the same night. Show ends with the three Japs together in the ring, then Io comes out too. Some catchy twangy Japanese theme starts. Asuka goes on to dominate the women's singles division, kairi and Io the tag team division, and Nakamura the men's. A new multi-gender stable. They're called the 'Yakuza Experience'. Next night on Raw they cut off Seth's little todger with a samurai sword. Seth becomes WWE's Nyla Rose, but xir's called the 'Armenian Monster' or some shit. He then feuds with Asuka for the women's title.

A face champion is only as entertaining as the heel who chases or tries to defeat them. I can give Becky a pass since Lacey is just as equal a trash talker as Becko, but I cannot begin to care about Seth/Baron and Kofi/Ziggler and others. I’d almost want Miz as the champ since over the other two.

Elias is an odd man out, but let's be real - McMahohn sees him as a top heel, he's got the size Vince wants for a champ, and he's feuding with Roman Reings. Perfect opportunity to get a heel run out of the title that isn't tied to Bryan's star power before handing the belt to Vince (or possibly the Miz).

AJ getting a title is inevitable. I am going under the assumption WWE and Paul E. want The Club to be a major threat and not just some pocket faction that will compete with NJPW and their stuff as well as the elite. Putting the (mildly worthless) Universal belt on AJ gives the club credibility.
