Uh oh Switchblade just isnt that great of a wrestler

>uh oh Switchblade just isnt that great of a wrestler
>uh oh Jericho is just too old
>uh oh Tana is too banged up

Can we just admit Okada is starting to slowdown? He is worse than he was, still great tho

But i loved the Jay match and really liked the Tana match (much better then the last G1 and KOPW match)

The Switchblade match was great and the Tana match was fine and told a different story to their previous bouts. The Jericho match just didn't work for whatever reason

Shibata and omega are not here to carry him to a great match.

but they were 4.75, 4.75 and 5.25 star matches

This, all his best matches were with guys who can have classics with a lifeless doll

He just had a MOTY candidate against SANADA

To be fair SANADA is a very good wrestler able to carry his opponents

>Oh no it was Kenny
>Oh not it was Shibata
>Oh no it was SANADA
it takes 2 to tango retard

Fucking grandpa Tana has to fucking jump off the third rope outside the ring to create some spots because all this overrated shitter can do is fucking dropkicks, fucking defend this

>meltz stars
Opinion discarded.

Okada is like Bret or Jumbo Tsuruta, he doesn't need big spots to put on a 5* match

Moves don't make a match
Ishii is the best active wrestler

>Moves don't make a match
>Ospreay puts another classic in your path

>he doesn't need big spots to put on a 5* match
Because his opponents are the ones doing the big spots instead of him trying to carry him lmao

Okada vs Tanahashi at the G1 was incredible. Omega didn't have any great matches since becoming champ, he had better matches with all his opponents in the past.

>the last G1 tana match was fucking kino
>this one was just an Okada match
What happened?

m8 all those matches were really fucking good.

>still had the 2nd MOTY this year with big choppa Ishii
dummy.

Okada's 2016/early 2017 spoiled us
>04.01.2016 - Okada def Tanahashi
>11.02.2016 - Okada def Goto
>10.04.2016 - Naito def Okada
>03.05.2016 - Okada def SANADA
>19.06.2016 - Okada def Naito
>10.10.2016 - Okada def Marufuji
>04.01.2017 - Okada def Omega
>05.02.2017 - Okada def Suzuki
>06.03.2017 - Okada def Tiger Mask W
>09.04.2017 - Okada def Shibata
In a 10 match span, Okada put on 3 matches (v Tana, v Omega, v Shibata) that are legitimate contenders for title of greatest match of all time.
His matches against Naito, Marufuji, Suzuki and Tiger Mask are also solid MOTY candidates.
His weakest matches against Goto and SANADA were still "good"
Okada's 2016/2017 was the peak of wrestling, anything he does after will look mediocre in comparison.

Watch Ishii/Okada from the NJC. They did like 3 moves all match and it was better than anything outside of the Shingo/Ospreay match.

It's hard to disagree, but I almost prefer his 2018. Going from God Okada to Weird Okada, finally burying the hatchet with Tanahashi. He didn't shine as brightly as Omega or Tana did but man from a character perspective he was on fire last year.

Stop eating shit and talk after the G1.

Full on autism Okada was just boring to watch.

Just like last year right?

It's you fucking fault for creating a stars system that makes no sense

Just look at this almost none of those are matches that a regular person would like or remember.

Too bad that character development meant nothing and he’s back to godkada.

Why do we always need to have in mind normies' opinions? It's dumb

Nigga he fell down and picked himself back up. Haven't you ever heard of the hero's journey.

>lifeless doll
Final night will be god tier then with kota

Because crowds opinions are more important than social media smarks and 70 years old Meltzer.

And less and less people watch wrestling

I kinda miss weird okada and wish he did not get the title back.I love the rainmaker but wanted more of goofy side okada

His red tights were also dope as fuck looking desu.

Okada at this point is noticeably better than all three of them, give him a great opponent like Naito or Ibushi and its guaranteed he'll put up a great match.

Both Sanada matches were dull and boring

He didn't fall down, he almost won the G1.

What are you smoking, the match was really good. Are you a moves faggot or something?

>He literally doesnt flip enough for ya
kwab
