As someone who was 5 when the game came out and started playing around back then up until a couple years ago; Links ruined the game so I stopped. Synchros and Xyz were cool and I liked the additions. I was indifferent to Pendulums. I didn't like them but they didn't ruin the experience of playing. Links just fucked it up for me so I quit. Plus the cards you needed to play competitively were way too expensive and still are. Maybe part of it is growing up. Like I'm not gonna pay $500 for children's playing cards, that shits just not gonna happen. Either way my interest Yugioh died for me a couple years back and it hasn't been the same since. Kinda like WWE in a way so it's pottery really.

I played from 04 -11. The introduction of Synchro monsters really ruined it for me. I'll always have a soft spot for those older booster sets like Pharaonic Guardian & Dark Crisis.

That's pretty much I constantly shoplifted booster packs from my local Target & Kmart.

The absolute state o konamietty. they had actual normies interested in the game but konami are cheap cunts and decided to make the game stupidly expensive to play and then (after gx) decided to over complicate things to anyone who has gotten laid or wants to get laid.

Never the guy, but always capable of having MOTN of he's put in that spot.
