what do you mean? Its not a bracket anymore. The bots fight multiple times and the bots with the best records get into the top 16. That's when it becomes a elimination bracket. In the middle of the season the bots doing the worst go in a desperado tournament, where the winner gets a guaranteed spot in the top 16

I believe the producers pick the fights. Kraken, one of the robots, said that he was originally going to face quantum, but they wanted a different opponent, so they got ribbot instead
