The final is gonna be Mizuki vs Yuka and then Mizuki will be push to win the championship right?
I would like the Yuka redemption arc where she beats Mizuki at the end of the tournament and then she is over Nakajima, burying her two personal jannettys. She could make a heel turn too.
I definitely don't want her full time in AEW either, fuckers couldn't even get her entrance theme for Fyter Fest and it's one of the reasons she's over.
I'm hoping for Mizuki to win and take the belt from Shoko. I love Shoko and she should've won the belt earlier and gotten a long reign honestly but Mizuki is obviously dimes and her Princess Cup run has been fire so it's probably the best time to pull the trigger.
Brody Ward
*has an incredible 5 star bout involving kicking you in the shins in your path*
Yuka is most active on social media when she goes overseas, I've noticed. She seems to be having quite a lot of fun working with this promotion called "AEW".
the crowds in Japan are obviously very different, they are smaller, much politer and more reserved. whereas the US crowds are huge and are totally willing to chant YU-KA! YU-KA! YU-KA!
she just has to do the same stuff she was always doing and will get an even bigger reaction. i hope she doesn't sign but that there is a sustained TJPW partnership and drip feed of their talent so we can get matches like Ito vs Nyla Rose and Miyu vs Hikaru Shida
>I'm hoping for Mizuki to win and take the belt from Shoko. I hope this happens too but at least give Shoko a respectable run first, they've already set up the Mizuki thing, she should blast through a fair few people first.
Noah Martinez
At this point I really expect they're going to have to knuckle under and bring in some already capable joshi from outside (unless they just fold). With all the hits they've taken the roster isn't deep enough to keep going for a very long time and most of the rookies (to be blunt) suck. Unless quite a few of them make rapid and big improvements they're just gonna run out of watchable matchups.
Samuel Flores
Really surprised to see that all TJPW's accountants post in here
Isaiah Butler
Reminder that there are two rookies who will be debuting soon.
Part of the fun of tjpw is watching the shitters get better, that being said reika going full time to w1 was the nail in the coffin for me
Evan Miller
I think Natsumi is just as good as Reika desu, maybe not as big a dime drawer but in ring certainly
Michael Moore
to be fair to Reika she was going nowhere in TJPW they used her up and jobbed her out and had her in a god awful angle with the dingus Marika, there was nothing left for her to really do and she was sidelined
I wonder what type of match Yuka vs. Yuna will be. Their last singles match (11/18/18) was a comedy bout which I largely remember for Yuna's boob sweat that accumulated over the course of the match.
Luke Martinez
>Their last singles match (11/18/18) was a comedy bout which I largely remember for Yuna's boob sweat that accumulated over the course of the match. wasn't this the gimmick match where they had to find items from the audience like socks and mobile phones?
Ryder Jenkins
They also had a time out draw at one of those Yokodai Station events where the ring was wet and slippery because it was raining and that obviously hindered what they could do in the ring. Neither match provided an opportunity for good wrestling. This will be interesting.
Juan Perez
hype as fuck for this bros, subbed to DDT Universe after DoN. Go Yuka!
I feel like Reika's run in WRESTLE-1 won't be a long term thing. She is grinding for experience points so she can return to TJPW a stronger, more well rounded performer.
Kevin Phillips
if her thing on Asian Boss is anything to go by she is about to get all kinds of offers and will rocket to a new level of fame, who knows where she will end up
This show gonna have commentary? Even if I don't understand it, it really compliments the product. Feels weird as fuck watching those non commentary shows
You now remember when Mizuki and Ito were a thing.
Juan Gutierrez
>based Miyu match >great Shoko match >potentially great Natsumi and Yuka matches on the same show >possible rematch with Shoko for the title Mizuki's had a pretty great month.
Angel Richardson
They were one of my favorite parts of 2017 TJPW. They were what the magical sugar rabbits are now.
they're cute as fug but fennecs are not domesticated at all and are completely fucking crazy, she will get absolutely sick of it ripping the house apart and showing zero emotion to her as it gets older
Julian James
the thing looks and acts drugged. you can tell Unagi is a particularly stupid bitch and will end up killing that fox
Camden Phillips
but kawaii!!!!!!!!! ^-^ fox-san sugoiii ^_^ minasan yoroshikuonegaishimasu~!!!!
Gavin Cook
Yeah, Unagi's a thot I don't think she'll do good with a pet like this. She's like the opposite of Shoko who clearly loves her degu and cares for it well.
Anthony Powell
Of course that's if she legit owns that fennec and isn't just borrowing it for a few minutes for her video.
any good shots of Mizuki's cameltoe, it looked delicious last night
Christian Evans
The longer she is benched, the closer TJPW comes to dying.
Kayden Miller
>lazy cat gimmick in an idol promotion They're closer to death if she ever comes back
Christian Rogers
she's honestly one of the worst wrestlers I've ever seen, but I'm putting all my chips on her because all my favorites are no longer in the company and I have no shits to give
Matthew Thompson

Haruna's problem is that she seems to have zero confidence which leads to her looking confused and sloppy as she doesn't really commit to anything. Raku had that problem for a long time too but now she seems a lot more comfortable which has led to looking a lot better so maybe Haruna can get there too. Of course this is also the second time since her debut she's been put out with a back injury so she might not even be able to handle things physically.
Honestly of the other rookies Mirai's the best by far and should be getting some wins instead of taking the fall every match and needs a bit of character; I'd say once she's a year or so in talk to Sayama about bringing back the Tiger Dream gimmick for her..
Mahiro's a complete non-entity with no character, a boring look and basic offense. Unagi is... something. She'll basically fill the role Nonoko and pre-TPC Yuna were of largely working comedy on the lower to mid card. I think YUMI shows the second largest amount of promise, she just needs to show more aggression and fire in her strikes and play up her size more. Hopefully Izumi looks good in her debut because having two good rookies will really help them.
Brayden Hernandez
That's not Marika.
Jacob Garcia
Mahiro is so weird. It's like they want her to be a bland workrate wrestler but then forgot that she's a rookie with no athletic experience so she ends up being absolutely nothing.
Michael Phillips
I think Neko Haruna has the potential to be a Neko Nitta level performer. She needs more confidence and a better attire, which are things that will come in time.
>I think YUMI shows the second largest amount of promise, she just needs to show more aggression and fire in her strikes and play up her size more. Especially considering her age/experience level Yumi moves quite well in the ring, but she looks like she's still stuck in that phase where she's afraid of hurting people by being too stiff so she backs off a second before hitting people and it looks like shit. All she needs to do is learn how to follow through she'll have all the other rookies blown out of the water.
Jordan Morales
top left: The Miz bottom left: Momo Watanabe top right: Sumire Natsu bottom right: Yurie Kozakai
I'd say she needs to go to Miu or Shoko for weight training too. She's not a sticc but she should put some muscle on and just start hossing through all the womanlets.
Nicholas Diaz
Mizuki vs Manase Yuna is now the best singles match in the history of Tokyo Joshi Pro
>they didn't have a poster of me on the back wall I love that they get catty and jealous about this. I remember Azusa saying she felt validated when she finally got her own poster on her last show.
I really do not understand how Jap teeth work. How do they get them so crooked? Why no dentist ever took interest in fixing these teeth, this can't be good for your future dental health.
Ian Harris
>I like the giant birthmark on her GIANT breasts fixed it for ya
Cooper Mitchell
>ALLOUT finally doing something good. What you didn't liked their feud with SenJo?
Cooper Ward
No, because he is just an overgrown boy, not a man.
Wow. So it's just not just a Yuka thing. Takagi has definitely opened up TJPW to Kenny. Question is if/when DDT wrestlers will be booked. Then we can call it full blown partnership.
"Godawful" seems like an overstatement. The opening was marred by some botches, but once they found their footing it was good and had some dramatic moments. Miyu-Yuka was worse.
Cooper Mitchell
yeah, that was at a shitty throwaway show in Hiroshima though with the terrible venue acoustics, it wasn't really supposed to be a big match
Gavin Young
basically all but confirmed we will get Hikaru Shida vs Miyu at some point
Wyatt Rogers
It was in Fukuoka, first of all. And it was quite significant being that it was the last joshi puroresu event in Hakata Starlanes.
James Barnes
To be fair to Shoko she did do really well in her match against Rosa and she's basically solid. She does botch about as much as Yuka though, so it could go either way.
Britt is on the poster and Bea is as well. So is this Riho+Shoko vs. Britt+Bea? Or is it some other combo? Also hasn't Shida said that she will be as well? What the fuck is the combo they will be doing? Britt Bea Shida Shoko You cannot pin any on of those. Not yet anyway.
Joshua Clark
You can pin Riho or Britt, considering they both won. I think Bea pins Riho since Riho's 2-0 and Bea obviously needs a win.
Aiden Collins
Omega said it is being brought back. And he fixed everything, yuka was mad about it lol. But they wont let her go,she is too over with the crowd already
Jonathan Roberts
There are time limits in AEW so they could go for a draw if they want to protect the talent.
Maho had charisma and confidence, Haruna is just Marika 2.0
Blake Howard
Yuna Manase now has a match on the matchguide. Is she finally realizing her lofty expectations as Yuzupon 2.0?
Bentley Wood
It took Maho about a year and a half to become good. How about giving Haruna time to grow?
Lincoln Robinson
She was always going to be seriously held back by her complete lack of basic wrestling ability. Even by TJPW's somewhat relaxed technical standards she's just completely clueless. Maho wasn't perfect either but she could at least spend 30 seconds in the ring without embarrassing herself.
Sebastian Lee
no she's just realizing that she's got another creep blowing up her DMs now
Ryan Ross
Maho was pretty bad in ring but she was just good enough to get by and make stuff work. And her zombie spots were always well done. Haruna and Pomu are just a disaster.
Maho actually looked cool and unique and knew how to carry the concept given. Haruna is just a short woman in a loli bait cat maid outfit. That was never gonna happen
