me for not giving into jap shit lol fuck japs
7 or 10, all other answers are factually incorrect
For me it's 7
All Jannetties
8 > 7 > 10 >never played any others.
BASED
>10
Fucking pleb.
5>8>9>7>6>12>>>>>>>everything else
1
>X
>More over than 8,9, or XII
X was a transitional FF with a decent gimmick, but they pushed it too hard and we ended up with a Valet in the main event.
XII has the best pure strikes in the genre, class wise. It's no one's fault but yourself if you were too brainlet to figure out the Gambit system.
Chrono Trigger
Unironically FFXI.
Only nostalgiacucks think 7 is the best, its actually pretty dull, even 6 was better
The true GOAT is 12, it had a perfect cast, perfect story, and perfect gameplay
you X loving assholes make me seethe. i'd fucking play VIII before i'd play that trash
Yea...Final FAGasy, that's a no from dawg
based
>9 or XII
Sorry pal. X was bigger than both of those, easy. You had something with VIII, but nah.
Show your working, ya weebcel simp.
Final Fantasy IX Sales - 5.5 Million
Final Fantasy X Sales - 8 Million
Final Fantasy XII Sales - 6.1 Million
And that's just on their original platform releases. Overall, FFX is second only to VII as the most dime drawing, beating out even VIII (though, admittedly, just barely).
X and X-2 killed the entire franshise's heat with the marks, which is why XII did less business, but the card was stacked with 5* gimmicks whereas X had Omemega weapon and that was it.
Cope.
Hey, I'm not saying it's the best game. We all know that's Tactics.
I'm just saying it's a bonafide main-eventer and dime magnet.
>putting VIII above anything but XIII and XV
>ignoring the GOAT that is IV
have sex
7 is Hogan, 10 is Michaels, 6 is Bret Hart
The only ones I've ever played were IV, X-2, and CC so I guess I'll say none of those because they all sucked in some way
High workrate games like Tactics will never be over with the mainstream marks, XII got itself over and the franchise over with the marks again after the were burned out with the dancing gimmick and is the most fondly remembered of the PS2 cards.
It's the Wrestlemania 30 to X's Royal Rumble.
Rare Double Michaels
Objectively 7. Name another FF that has gotten a full remake.
V is the michaels to VIetty, XII is the michaels to Xetty, XI is the michaels to XIVtransetty
VII's the cena
Here's the actual Michaels you janetties.
youtube.com
VII. It’s the only one that people still constantly talk about. I don’t think any other game has as much porn either, and as we all know porn is the true mark of greatness.
Tactics.
Have you too been playing the FF Dissidia: Opera Omnia game? My favorite characters are all ff4 - 9 characters. IMO after 9 they lost alot of character design originality.
Very patrician of you, it's a shame we never got a proper sequel and instead had to settle for the child friendly FFT Advanced games on portables.
Im with you except I think 4 has a far more engaging story and difficulty than 5. FF5 has that dank gameplay and job system tho so I am torn.
Final Fantasy VII is honest to God the most overrated video game of all time.
Loudmouth faggot that everyone praises but never made any money? Obviously FF9.
For me it's SMT
12's story was a bit slow and uninteresting for me but I do agree the gameplay was all time favorite. I customized the gambit system to my satisfaction, then I created two 3-person teams of tank-healer-damage dealer. One of the damage dealers was a mage(using Faith and whatever staff enhanced her casts the most). Damn it was fun to play.
X
7 is the michaels. Everything else Jannetty.
Final Fantasy VII is the undeniable WM 17 of the franchisee
6, at least writing wise
10 had some of my favorite gameplay unless you count Tactics, which beats both
FF4 is my guy. I generally hear either 6 or 7 is the GOAT.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition
Absolutely based. Just got the plat.
>tfw FFX is the best game of all time
based
Final Fantasy XI drew more dimes than any of them. Possibly more than all combined. AND it is the sole reason FFXIV ever caught on. That shitty WoW clone would have died a SECOND death upon A Realm Reborn/2.0 release if it weren't for FFXI's massive player base eager to try out what they thought was going to be another absolutely fucking KINO MMO.
They're all shit desu
They should rerelease some shit like this, but on consoles that have the fucking internet and not some barely functional Nintendo-hindered toaster.
8 is the Michaels.
Second
Nobody praises FF9, you twat.
This guy gets it.
>perfect cast
A third of the characters are literally just there for the ride.
>perfect story
I honestly have no idea what the story was even about and I did everything you could in the game getting order of ambrosia. Utterly forgettable.
>perfect gameplay
I can somewhat agree, it was a nice change of pace at the very least.
Which is the Janetty though, XIII or XV?
I don't know if XIII can even rise to Janetty levels. No one liked it, or its inexplicable spinoffs, and all of them were thoroughly shit. FFXV has the "positive qualities" of a Janetty, in that it did have a fair amount going for it (including looking fucking amazing, with some slick gameplay), but was tragically doomed by deep flaws. Also, I mentally called Gladius "Roman" the entire fucking game.
Objectively the worst opinion I've read in the thread.
This guy gets it. Final Fantasy is an overrated, damn near dead franchise outside of Japan and its MMOs, and the FFXI was what built their entire MMO business.
