Bret is the fucking alpha of wrestling. 10/10 worker. Pretty good promo at times. Actually understands how to make this shit interesting and seem like a sport. Doesn’t take shit from anyone. Cares about people who are good.

I just finished reading his book. I started watching in 2002 and wish I could have seen golden age Bret. He’s by far my favourite of all time now. Also fuck HHH he’s such a loser.

Bret's book is THE single best pro-wrestling book ever written. First hand account from a guy who was there at the tail end of the territory days, in the biggest company in the world during the 80's wrestling boom, was the top guy during American wrestling's international expansion, and literally began the attitude era.
Required reading.
