I predict this too. I don't have anything to back it up really, other than I've watched wrestling since the 80s. I know the culture, I know it's trends... and wrestling isn't gaining new fans. All AEW is doing is splitting fans, thereby making both organizations less profitable. And we have all seen what happens creatively when the money and incentive is gone.
