Lucha style is a completely different beast. You have to go into it with a completely different mindset and requires way more suspension of disbelief.
AAA and CMLL are easy to watch. CMLL is available every week and for AAA you just have to catch whatever they decide to stream. IWRG is good too(at least the upper carders) but for anything outside the big two its take what you can get.
For japanese shit just become a joshichad.

You can pretty much watch any CMLL show and get into it without knowing much. Friday shows are the best and there's always streams and they put full shows on Youtube the next day so just watch a good one and see if you like it. AAA is more Americanized and has more weapons and gimmick matches and shit. They stream on Twitch usually.
