not sure if trolling or not, but i do know that mid-south actually had a jobber named 'davey meltzer' at one point as a dig at big bants dave
what makes this really funny tho is that bill watts actually read the observer, and at one point ordered all of his talent to start subbing & reading it too (back before the internet, when the publication was still mainly a weekly, physical paper mailed to subscribers, like an actual newspaper but on a low budget) so they'd have some idea what was going on in the wrestling business outside of his territory
