It was shit

This
But also this

It was boring like anything from WCringeW

WCW is probably the best wrestling company ever

t. watches 12 hours of WWE programming per week

>so jannettied to SmackDown that Thursday Night Wars never happened

Thunder really was shit, it served no purpose to Nitro unlike smackdown

MÖRKÖ SAUNOO

>it's a juice is on commentary and shits all over the episode
yeah i'm thinking based.

I used to tape it every week in '98
Pretty much fast forwarded through the whole show. It was pretty much just filler
Probably watched a 2 hour Thunder in 10 minutes
I used to watch WCW Saturday Night in '98 too and that was even worse. You'd be happy to get the lowest nWo members in some main event against Giant or something

It filled the Wednesday spot, what was on TV that was good back then?

Thunder was on Thursday which was a huge NBC TV night

They moved it to Wednesday a couple months after Smackdown started.

No one was watching WCW by that point
I stopped watching at some point in late '98

Thunder was comfy to watch.

It was also complete shit.

I didn't think it was comfy at all. I hated the production and atmosphere. Dreary and bland. It was pretty miserable. Nitro was like a vibrant party, felt like people tailgated before Nitro

Comfy for lower card WCW because the top talent big leagued it

More people than WWE gets nowadays, attendance too.

I believe that
I'd much rather watch dying WCW than current wrestling

Thunder was shit, but comedy in 2000, because they truly didn't give a fuck.

>Thunder started at early Jan 98
>Third hour of Nitro added late Jan 98

They added way too much TV in too little time., stars didn't want travel twice a week and the midcarders were over-exposed being on Nitro and Thunder. As time went Thunder was closer to weekend C-shows than an Nitro A show.

Crazy thing WCW could have pulled off a brand split better than WWE does now if they went that direction

NITRO Sting, Flair, Goldberg, Hart, DDP
THUNDER Hogan, Lex, Macho, Hall, Nash

Hopefully allow some of the midcard to battle those top 5 stars on each brand

Discovered wrestling through flipping the channels as a kid and stumbling on Thunder one day

Found the zoomer trash, 18+ gtfo of here

It’s not crazy at all. They had a much, much better roster.
