It's weird that NJPW still hasn't figured out that Tanahashi isn't over with the West. I mean, all these people who got in circa WK11 because of Kenny vs. Okada learned that the important people in NJPW are Omega, Okada and Naito. Tanahashi was in the backburner at the time, and then he spent a while injured. To these new fans he's just "used to be Japanese John Cena, I guess", there's no investment in him.
