>#2 Wrestling promotion in the world
Literally nobody's said this since like 2007, Jesus fucking Christ OP

I'm pretty sure those people say that Impact has good shows, not massive popularity

I don't get it

subject field

Did OP's post get stuck in the server thirteen years ago?

oh

well that hasn't been true for many years

tell that to the retards at DiscussPW, they are literally claiming that Impact is airing in 120 countries and has bigger viewership than WWE in most of them.

Just not in America because it's full of SJWs snowflakes that can't handle edgy and adult oriented content and good old fashioned inter gender matches.

From the beginning..

>jeff jarrett destroying any up and coming talent they had
>buried everyone or turned them heel as a member of his stable that had everyone worth a fuck working as his lackeys
>really, this shit couldn't sell out a show that literally gives away free tickets

>vince russo
>fucking named the company T&A. This one gets easy to overlook after you get used to reading it but shits on the product before people even see it
>also retarded russo booking

>dixie carter
>money mark, had no idea how anything in wrestling worked and still dosen't.

>spike TV
>exactly the kind of channel you would imagine having a show called T&A with overall ratings to match
>TNA was actually an incredible success for them compared to their usual programming. trying to capitalize on this hurt TNA in the long run because they kept putting shitty fake reality TV on immediately before and after the show to try and leech off its ratings

>various washed up WCW / ECW / WWE talents
>scott steiner and sting were good pickups for them. both of those guys did way more for TNA than they had to. same for angle. nash was a terrible long term decision, booker t didn't give a fuck, all of the talent they "snatched" from WWE was dogshit. especially ric flair, what the fuck were they thinking. double especially druggie jeff hardy, another what the fuck.

>hogan and bischoff
>its a tough call on these guys because they did bring legit star power - hogan is ALWAYS dimes. but also ruined the company doing shit like bringing in the nasty boys and various super retarded booking decisions around the main event

>also the entire main event mafia angle
>what was even the payoff there?

>losing all their homegrown talent to WWE after burying them in various ways, either intentionally or above mentioned retard booking
>the only guy that got anything out of his TNA run was maple leaf muscle lil petey pump

>paying out giant contracts, especially to guys like nash who did absolutely nothing

>blaming SpikeTV for TNA's failure
Both WWE and UFC had been on SpikeTV before.

And there's a reason they got off that network

Yeah, they got better deals elsewhere. Doesn't change the fact UFC built their PPV business from the ground up there.

Some people had no idea that UFC wouldn't exist had they not been on Spike or Vince Mcmahon had vetoed them from being on Spike.

Is that the same place as they hosted joey janela's lost in whothefuckcares show?

It's the Melrose Ballroom. Where it is doesn't matter, what matter is, it's not packed, it's set up for less than 250 people, there are some indie show that drew better crowd and they do it without 15 years of brand recognition and "TV exposure".

>ywn see PRIDE FC vintage shows on Spike again
Fuck bros

My local wrestling promotion draws more than Impact.

>DiscussPW
the fuck is that?

It's Neo TNA Mecca,
where the delusional retards play

Homecoming had a pretty good crowd

AEW's first victim, ROH is next

you don't say...

Tbf ROH is doing a good job driving their fans away without AEW

Distant third now....

It's hilarious how triggered you are by TNA

Back when TNA was doing the Broken Hardys thing they put a match with the Hardys from the indies on their show and their crowd was like 3 times the size of Impacts.

Most, if not all of the big money contract EXWWE guys were paid by Spike and not TNA. The only big money TNA star they ever had was Styles, who still made less than half of what Spike was paying Sting.

how the fuck do they have more financial backing than ever before when they're at the least interesting ever?

When was Aces and Eights

My theory is that Impact and ROH are fronts for money laundering.

Because every television executive took note of how much UFC sold for and are now looking for their next big payout. Also the only thing cheaper to produce is reality tv and the market is over-saturated with that filth.

They live in your head rent free.

ROH was already struggling before and after their MSG show.

more people than an ROH or WWE show

It's set up for 800 people it's just a really small room

>#2 Wrestling promotion in the world btw
Who says that?

We know they do. That's why you constantly make threads about them. Pretty sad honestly

Thanks for proving how butt hurt you are

It's not set up for 800 people, there's not even a dozen people on the balcony.

I usually watch Impact but this post literally reminded me that Xplosion (their b-show) still exists. The fact that anyone's in the audience is a minor miracle.

good lord what is this

What is Donny Kiss doing in the Impact Zone?
Is AEW invading IMPACT?
