Meltzer on WOR: "AEW still has stuff to prove but I'll tell you another thing, the issue's not going to be out yet but... the PPV numbers, you know how we had the estimate last week? (98,500) It's looking a LOT better this week."
Bryan: "Better than 98,000?"
Dave: "Oh yeah, far better. 98,000 looks like the lowest possible number but it could be well above that, in fact... it probably will be far above it."
WE JUST KEEP WINNING, AEW CHADS. GET THE FUCK IN HERE. Apparently, 98,500 was the estimated number, the actual, legitimate, finalized number will be out later on today.
>98,500 is the early estimate >Please keep in mind the words "early" and "estimate" >The actual, legitimate numbers are much higher now that there's more information out.
This isn't hard to understand, E-drones. 98.5 wasn't an actual number, it was just an estimate. You retards have no one to blame but yourselves.
so he lied about 200k then he lied about 98k (how the duck can you “estimate” buys. You would literally have all accurate the info the next day. These are direct digital sale) but now suddenly we should believe 3rd non number.
>still could be 98k >could be above that More Dave speculation. So he doesn't have any idea what the number is which means AEW doesn't have the number meaning it could actually come in below 98k

Comparing a company that had a 35 year start with a company that didn't exist 6 months ago is not smart at all on your part. The fact that AEW is already drawing a significant portion of WWE's numbers despite being 35 years apart should be fucking alarming to you, E-drone.
People want an alternative and those numbers will only go up in time.
Mason Murphy
PPV numbers take time to come out unless it's a public company.
Jace Thompson
Do you fucking hear yourself, retard? Here's an exercise for you, I want you to google "UFC 237 PPV buys" on Google and come back to me with a final number. UFC 237 numbers aren't even out yet and the show happened several weeks ago. You're retarded.

>if M-Meltzer says something i-it’s true >i-it was a h-huge success! B-Be scared multi billion dollar c-company!
Here it is. Skip to 65:10 or 1:05:10 or whatever, near the end. He talks about it for a few minutes. The number will be out in the Observer later on today.
Are you for real? You think the 80s was a slow decade for pro-wrestling? The absolute fucking state of this zoomer board.
Anthony Hall
E-drones are literally grasping at straws here in some pathetic, desperate attempt at diminishing what is obviously a resounding, resounding success. I've never seen anything like it.
Julian Davis
WWE literally isn't a multibillion dollar company though, I'm enjoying this retard gimmick you've got going on tbqhwy
Brandon Gutierrez
you’ve never seen anything like it? in what sense user?
in people trying to say this was not a success. The show was bad for me, I didn't find it appealing to my specific tastes. But from how many eyeballs they got on it? Success. Still far cry from average WWE shit, but for them it was really good.
Connor Gutierrez
I don't think some millionaire's vanity promotion failing to make money is a success. If your barometer is 'well at least they didn't crash and burn' I guess it might be.

thanks user appreciated

They have at least 3 years plan. They went into it knowing they won't be making money for the first 3 shows. Anyone can understand that and see that. And I think they actually earned more money to get closer getting into the black than they expected. And that is what I am calling a success. I know they are spending more than they are making, right now. Nobody is saying otherwise (and if they are, they are complete morons or just trolls).
Bad. From people who watch football. Bad. We will see if this one will hold up. But we shouldn't judge them by their first event, not financially yet. We can judge their shit music, we can judge them for their shit pre-show, we can judge them for their shit tag match and changing the booking and having Brandi being too much like Steph. But I don't think nobody expected them to be profitable after the first show.

Why do you keep posting pictures of that asian boy?

Good
They get promoted next season and win the premier league the year after.
