I think so too. There's this indie promotion near me called AWS that has like 30 people tops in attendance per show. I'd always ask myself "how tf are they even making money" and the promoter announced he was closing it last month because it didn't draw. Shame because I saw a ton of NXT people there before they became famous.

I recently started watching Impact and find it to be decent to watch. not as dull and boring and stale as wwe and I have almost no clue who 95% of the roster is so it's all fairly fresh to me. tho I do know that it was good years ago from all the threads when it comes up but I missed that. will go back and watch it eventually. for now just keeping up with the show and catching up on the last few months

I had a friend who did the books for one of my local bingo halls. Apparently the wrestling company was a charity scheme by this one local business owner. Even though maybe 100 or 200 people bought tickets the building held like 1000. He would "donate" tickets and VIP experiences to the charity for the retarded and claim letting a kid hang out with wrestlers for 5 minutes back stage was worth $100
