No, he fucking lost like the geek they made him to be. This is very annoying to see all those fucker come and get instant glory because "lol me from wwe big league", fuck that mentality, njpw guys never get those kind of treatment in wwe. Why should wwe guys get this treatment in new Japan?! The great Shinsuke nakamura made his beginning in the developmental brand of wwe , nxt!
Because WWE wrestlers are way more popular internationally and that's the kind of market that modern New Japan wants
Prince Devitt was the first Universal Champ, AJ was treated like a big star and Shinsuke had a match for the WWE championship at Wrestlemania.
Not the same I know, but both companies have had respect for each other in that sense, especially when you consider no WWE shitter has gone over the top guys in New Japan with the exception of Jericho vs Naito, and Naito got his win back at their biggest show.
overrated! overrated! overrated! overrated! overrated! overrated!

THE FED IS CRAWLING
Jericho is a wrestling star in general even if he is 50,if he came back in WWE he would still be on the main event,no shit New Japan and AEW also want to push him that hard.
Jericho is one of the goats and a living legend. He deserves every push that he gets.
I know but that's besides the point. Jericho is the only one that has gone over a top guy and said top guy got his win back at the biggest show of the year. Neither NJ or WWE (to the surprise of everyone) has actually treated badly or overpushed a dude from either company. They have their fair share of geeks (Juice is ex WWE, Karl Anderson is ex NJPW) so it's been pretty balanced all around. Mox getting the US champ is no different from Shin getting a Royal Rumble win.
