Former stoner, BPD reporting in. It does exacerbate mental issues. I indulged quite a bit as a teen and young adult (in a legal state), it's not good for young minds. There's a good reason why states like Oregon require you to be over 21, should be 25 because that's when the brain is done developing.

the compounds that make the weed smell different are called terpenes. There are many, many terpenes but the one commonly found in weed that makes it spell piney is typically alpha-pinene which has some anti-inflammatory capabilities. You see, Terpenes create smells but they also have effects on the body.

That Birthday Cake has a lot of vanilla terpenes, same for Wedding Cake. Another common terp is limonene, it gives weed a citrusy smell. Try smelling some Mimosa, Jack Herer or Premium Jack to smell that one. The key for you finding the weed you want my friend is in the terpenes.
