How do you guys watch 3 hours of this five days a week? I've only watched two days out of the entire BOSJ. I love NJPW, but man can it get exhausting.

I think they are doing it at Royal Quest or at RevPro.

We only watch it that much like twice a year, for Best of the Super Juniors and the G1 Climax. The rest of the time it's usually one or two shows a week, sometimes weeks without any shows.

Well, the Final isn't sold out, but I don't think any of those matches are going to move a significant amount of tickets. Also, most of them would probably be bad. The thing about the undercard tags is they're usually inoffensive at worst. Typically, the floor for singles matches is way lower.

Most people don’t watch the undercard tags, but to say they don’t have story is false. Even G1 Climax undercard tags have storylines like Jay White allowing Yoh to get pinned and Yoh not trusting him. Quit pissing and moaning simp

NJPW tag matches aren't like the WWE filler ones. They use them to build up storylines and start feuds, they are actually based. It's the biggest thing that surprised me about NJPW that and that the character and promo work was so much better than I was used to

Also tag matches serve booking perspective, giving people who paid money to see the stars, what they want but not wasting drawing matches.
People who complain about the tags doesn't udenrstand that NJPW is not TV show trying to draw ratings, but live event bussiness and they need to save drawing matches to move tickets.

Honestly the tag match system is one of the big things that helps NJPW build stars. A singles match between even two "midcarders" feels like a big deal because of how much everyone is built up.
