Yea Forums Books

All right, lads, what are the actually decent-to-good Yea Forums books?

What I've got is:
>pic related
>Jericho's books
>Controversy Creates Cash
>Rise and Fall of ECW
>Nitro
>Ric Flair: To Be the Man

I constantly hear "Sex, Lies, and Headlocks" and "Hardcore History: The Extremely Unauthorized Story of ECW" come up, but see a lot of people calling them poorly edited, counterfactual, and/or the products of journalists with hate-boners for wrestling.

jericho's second book and anything past the 3rd are trash

Death of WCW audiobook was way better than reading it because Alvarez's inflection when talking about the stupid shit is hilarious.

Disregard Foley's books after this.
Sex, Lies, and Headlocks was good. I need help remembering the title to a wrestling book I read about 8 years ago. It was written with a negative slant, and had a whole chapter speculating on whether Gorgeous George was inspired by early drag shows.

I've heard this is supposed to be pretty good as far as newer stuff is concerned.

This is a mark book written by marks who spew bullshit who weren't even there.

The Nitro book shits all over this.

...oh, and watching Eric BTFO the mark who wrote it was hilarious.

Hi eric

Nitro is probably the only really worthwhile one. It also debunks a whole bunch of shit in Death of WCW making said book pretty irrelevant.

Hardcore Hollys Hardcore Truth was excellent read

stone colds book whilst he narrates it

This and the Rock's book are the only wrestling books I have and I thought they were both nice reads.

The mick Foley books in order. It really plots his demise and eventual selling of soul. The hypocrisy is real

I just wish Nitro had a hardcover edition. Paperbacks feel cheap for the bigger books.

Bret’s book
Sean Oliver’s book

I can't read, so i don't care

So, in terms of autobios, I should have Jericho's first, Foley's first, The Rock's, Stone Cold's, Hardcore Holly's, and Bret's?

Didn't Bischoff only find out at Starrcast last year that Dave Meltzer wasn't an author on this book and it happened in public and he was the one left embarrassed?

Yes. Retard over there won't care about that though.

Evening, Wolfcuck

So, are both Death of WCW and Nitro worth it, or only Nitro?

That's right. He's still trying to keep the 'rivalry' going to save face too, it's pathetic.

Only Nitro, Nitro has interviews straight from TBS and WCW personnel

He spent 17 years saying Meltzer co-wrote that book and had to have the news broken to him publicly in front of an audience that no, in fact that is not the case.
Got major 2nd hand embarrassment off it.
