We start the show talking about the big boxing upset with Andy Ruiz Jr. stopping heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. We then review Saturday's excellent NXT: TakeOver XXV show from Bridgeport, Connecticut.
We look at AEW's PPV numbers, their PPV buying audience versus WWE's PPV buying audience, Bill Simmons' podcast segment about AEW, Jon Moxley's interview with Wade Keller, and Jim Cornette's rant on Double Or Nothing.
We finish off talking about the Best of the Super Juniors, UFC Stockholm, and the latest WWE news."

>WOR: Ruiz Jr. vs Joshua fight Dave is so ashamed to be a wrestling fan that he'll pretend MMA and boxing is wrestling
Carter Hughes
Dave has been reporting on real fights since 1993
Isaiah Foster
Ibushi will never know you exist namefag, give it up
Aiden Gutierrez

Aaron Butler
>9 minutes talking aboutt cornette's "rant" >cornette was right in everything he said
fucking seething
Camden Lee
No mention of CMLL show, i don't care.
Xavier Harris
Has he talked boxing recently, I know he's talked a lot of MMA

William Ward
Back to puro twitter.
Daniel Nelson
Thanks
Thomas Myers
>real fights >boxing it's rigged as fuck
Camden Hall
Based tripfag asking the important questions
Gavin Rodriguez
>rigged There's no money in rigging a Ruiz win.
Cooper Nelson
They were TRYING to rig an AJ win. Judge's scorecards had AJ way closer on points than he should've been, one even had him ahead on round 5, which is fucking absurd, if I recall correctly. Ruiz just took him out before the fix could come in. The only truly decisive finishes in boxing come before round 12. Everything else is bullshit. See: Wilder and Fury. Fury won that and Wilder gave one of his worst performances ever, but it was rated a draw because they wanted the rematch money. Ruiz was a literal fighting underdog babyface and he buried the authority and their golden boy.
Sebastian Gray
If there was going to be rigging, the ones doing it would be the tonnes of dodgy gambling companies. They wouldn't bother for a fight like this, the odds were too shitty for them to lose too much.
Angel Butler
So does he apologize for reporting the AEW PPV numbers wrong initially?
Benjamin Johnson
uh, I-I-it's like... r-reading is your friend y'know... n-numbers change... after 7 comes 8 y'know, just like that it's different a-and that happens, y'know?
Brayden Cook
Nice samefag, Garrett! I’m Mexican so I would watch
Tyler Powell
He never reported the buys wrong. He reported the google trends and people reported those as the ppv buys because they're retarded.
Dominic Mitchell
He never reported them wrong; as usual simps lied about what he said to get clicks for their own sites.
Aaron Sullivan
So it's Yea Forums's ewwwfags' fault?
Ethan Stewart
Golden Boy is the worst for this. This British ahole who partnered with DAZN seems bad as well
I am so happy his guy lost, but like WWmene there's probably an automatic rematch
Logan Russell
Does he do this podcast daily?
Ian Fisher
>PPV buying audience versus WWE's PPV buying audience
Already manipulating when Network is more important now
Bentley Perez
No
Lucas Nelson
wow this podcast is great without bryan
Daniel Collins
It is certainly a more comfy listen without Bryan yelling about shit.
For whatever reason Bryan convinced himself that arguing for the sake of arguing makes for good radio. The old Todd Martin show was unbearable because of Bryan's bullshit.
Henry Martinez
Www dot bump dot com
Kevin Campbell
>The Bucks Vs the Lucha Bros match was phenomenal.
Cornette was right about that one, it was a garbage self indulgent flippy match with 500 to many near falls and 30 minutes too long with the wrong team winning in the end.
Bentley Johnson
I think it was poorly executed, but you have to realize that AEW wants a different type of Tag match where it's more focused on 2v2. On a rewatch, it wasn't as bad as I thought.. because the kickouts were guys who had some rest and shit like that. They still have a long way to go to make that shit work though. Especially if you're acclimated to certain tag match style. It's almost like you need to reinvent classics like the hot tag.
