His gimmick was that he was Dixie Carter's rich spoilt rotten nephew and that's how he was expected to be treated, as the nephew of the owner. However, does it work in WWE? I doubt it, unless you actively explain his background to the fans. Problem with his TNA run however was that the gimmick went away basically completely after a while, when Russo stopped writing for them, his gimmick became generic babyface or heel instead. Main eventer sure, but still.

Also, he was known for politicking in TNA. That's how he got his push in TNA for being buddy buddy with John Gaburick, giving them gives and whatnot in the office. However it's obvious he's a fish out of water in WWE. Although i assume they think he got something and it only fuels my speculation that AEW has some kind of working relationship with WWE going on. They wouldn't let a wrestler like that out on television without heavy repercussions.
