Sure he’s not making 3 million anymore and it’s technically a pay cut but his quality of life is the same, if not better because of lowered transportation and lodging costs

I doubt WWE was going to give him a significant pay bump if he re-signed. He was just throwing a $10 million number out there, knowing he wouldn't get a Brock contract, to illustrate the point about how miserable WWE made him.

Even if you are making a ton of money in WWE, you are also physically throwing away the best years of your life. Sure, you'll have a great retirement if you save, but there is something to wasting your youth on Vince's ego and schedule that can make no amount of money worth it.
