fucking pajeets
Fucking pajeets
>AEW Reigns
What did they mean by this ?
Exactly what Russo has said all along. When they got the detailed segment by segment TV ratings, the lowest rated stuff was the matches
So what are they supposed to do now ? 3 hours of video package and promos ?
Based brock
WOMEME BTFO
No but you have to embrace the soap opera aspect. The in ring Wrestling really is just a means to an end to deliver the story
Man that's just depressing to know a bunch of the viewers want segments over matches but considering the matches are usually fairly shit and boring it makes sense.
been watching some 80s lately and jeez quite a few matches had outcomes I didnt expect. a surprise victory or a double countout or a run in... now it's so scripted and boring and predicable
was thinking the same thing. no clue.
It’s why I watch NJPW
Great in ring workers who can deliver kino and minimal cringe backstage shit
I think he meant like a knockoff Roman
>WWE doesn't upload full matches to their youtube channel
Why would you watch a condensed short version of the match that probably doesn't include the finish when you could get the meat of an actual segment?
Segments are more watchable in bite-sized doses.
Also wrestling doesn't draw stories do
The videos are just highlights of the matches and everyone knows tv matches are pointless. The way I see it is wrestling matches are for ppv. Segments are for tv to build those matches.
Yeah man YouTube haha
I don't get how people can say matches don't draw if the entire PPV model that wrestling operated on for decades was built around getting people to watch wrestlers settle their feuds built on free TV through high quality matches
the mass audience has always wanted that, ya absolute dork.
nigga you built the story on free TV and then that convinced people to order the PPV to see the conclusion/next chapter to that feud.
But only a small section of the TV audience would actually buy PPVs.
Tbh the Wrestling was always my least favorite part of wrestling. As goofy as that sounds
In 1999 when every match outcome was a no finish lol
That Anoai he fought works or worked in MLW but pajeets probably assume the only other company outside WWE is AEW
>3 hours of video package and promos ?
no, you can throw in some 2-5 minute squash matches to help get important guys over, especially important guys who aren't so good at promos. but wwe doesn't have dedicated job guys anymore, they just 50/50 book the shit out of everyone
...
they're not actual matches
they're clips that dont show you the finish
So if this show has rating lower than the previous week and on the whole show there was almost no wrestling, what will the "matches are not the thing people watch RAW for" crowd say?
Because this hivemind of people saying how actual matches are bad and doesn't draw in viewers and shit like that.
This last episode of RAW is example of no wrestling. There was almost none. You cannot blame matches for shit rating. You have to blame all the skits and backstage stuff and so on.
Will you do it?
Something like 80% of their YouTube views come from places that spend zero dollars on the product. You tube views literally mean zero dimes
>Something like 80% of their YouTube views come from places that spend zero dollars on the product. You tube views literally mean zero dimes
They adressed this.
They have said that 80% of YT views is making 20% of YT revenue.
So 20% are coming from USA and is making them 2/5 of the money they make on Youtube. The rest is from shitholes and not worth anything.
Sorry, no Alexa name this time in the Becky match = no views
The actual wrestling should be saved for PPVs. Raw should have squashes and shenanigans at most.
why the fuck would a casual viewer want to watch fake play fighting? mma and the death of kayfabe have killed that aspect of the business.
It takes time to see clear pattern. Besides, even though WWE is trying, their backstage skits sucks and are fucking corny.
The smarks who jerk off to workrate are the reason wrestling is absolutely terrible. They cater to the vocal smarks on social media by giving them the over scripted flippy shit that they chant "this is awesome" for.
they just brainlessly accept this shit because TV is new to them
Exactly. Even in real sports many times the locker room drama is what draws
That's because WWE is set-up and portrayed as a clownshow for mentally handicapped people. Their youtube view ots also heavily influence the narrative you're trying to paint here.
The Hangman Page vs PAC match on the AEW Youtube channel is the most viewed video on the chanel with almost 600k real views, so there's that.
The reason that match has views is because of all the backstage drama surrounding it. Further proving the point that matches have never drawn
Don't make up your own head cannon. The match was already highly anticipated when it was first announced like 6 months ago without any build-up.
Maybe if the matches weren't predictable move exhibitons people would be more interested.
Highly anticipated by who. 200 people who showed up in that parking lot for the press conference?
