Basically it's the Invasion Angle done right using all of their own people so one side doesn't have to get buried.
Strange how horrible WWE became in just 8 years. I'm sure at this time the show was still watchable and not pure cringe how it is now. I blame the womens revolution along with the rise of the indies.
