Admit it, he was actually pretty good

After about an hour to get up to speed only, but yes.

He was much better than the last NJPW show he did.

started off slow, but ended pretty well I think.

It was just funny how bored he sounded during the flippy guys

>wow how good are these guys

He's just not into that at all. But then during the other stuff like Moxley coming out or the Cody vs Dustin match, he sounded really into it

Tell that to the bag of puppies he smashed with a hammer.

This
He sounded like he wanted to be somewhere else at first. Once the show picked up so did his commentary.

He woke up during Cody v Dustin, but he needs better synergy with the others if he's gonna do this long term.

>I like the ten count, it's more realistic.

He woke up midway through the show with the joshi match and was good from there onwards.

The flippyshit from the first half of the show put him to sleep.

Cody vs Dustin match was the only match with actual emotional drama in it.

Aja Kong certainly woke his old nostalgic ass up.

>calling the Dirty Deeds a DDT

senile. He'll be dropped before the next ppv.

fuck you faggot

He was classic.

commentary was fine, aside from no one saying who those geeks that attacked after the best friends match were

He got better as it dragged on but the ultimate redpill is that JR was never good and is simply overhyped by Attitude Era kids.

>MOXLEY AND OMEGA! MOXLEY AND OMEGA
i forgot what a surprise debut can be like without 'is it? could it be? it is!' and corporate branding and catch phrases dampening the experience.

He's far and away better than what WWE has now.

>MOXLEY AND OMEGA! MOXLEY AND OMEGA!

Legit goosebumps. Made me feel like a kid again.

That's like saying you came in first in the 100 yard dash at the Special Olympics.

I'm diasappointed he didn't misgender Nyla Rose at least once within the entire span of her match

>SUBMISSION TIME

the only time i cringed

Honestly not really, I feel his time has past... he's not horrible but he obviously doesn't know or follow everything now days and can't scream his head off like when he was younger. I would rather somebody more knowledgeable take over.

Nah. Listen to him call Mid-South/UWF back in the day with PS Hayes. That's what launched him, with good reason.

No he was awful, he just wasn't as horrific as he was on the NuJapan shows

Sorry, meant for

>He's far and away better than what WWE has now.
That's like saying that one turd looks better than the other, at the end of the day they're both turds.

I'll take your word for it, I just know that HTM opened my ears and I can't stand Attitude Era JR/Lawler. Give me Monsoon/Ventura or Dusty/Heenan instead.

Vic Joseph and Tom Philips are miles better than JR. JR was great back in the day, but he's been awful for over 10 years
