WHY IS IT SO MUCH BETTER
WHY IS IT SO MUCH BETTER
>Dean is balder
>Jericho is fatter
>Better
better lighting. black ropes
Kenny is there.
because you're a mark
It really is the new TNA.
It's literally the same amount of baldness, he just got a haircut you dumb fuck.
"He has shorter hair so he's balder!"
Because WWE is shit
The top is Jon and Jericho doing their own thing. No writers or Vince telling them how to do things.
The bottom is the opposite.
The crowd is actually hyped
Is the old lady up front the lady thats always at NXT tapings?
>crowd isn't full of a bunch of bored boomers
>looks like a wrestling show rather than a sterile budget tv show
both are shit
numale hype doesn't count
>Actually good lighting
>High quality production instead of lower quality USA
>Ring actually has logo on it instead of just a mat
>Deano looks like he has character instead of just wacky jeans and wife beater man
>Fans actually excited to be there
>Cameras are not hopping up and down every other second
The fans are all wearing similar colored shirts and they’re black so it’s less distracting. They don’t have mike chioda standing there yelling like a tard. Dean is dressed better with a better haircut. Jericho isn’t wearing underwear
actual cope
Top: SOUL
bottom: SOULESS
Hyped? You mean homosexually aroused.
kind of highlights the shitty productions of WWmeme
I know it's mostly shitposting but I've got to disagree. I was a TNA loyalist from 2005 - Until Styles left. Double or Nothing was unironically better than any TNA PPV in history.
Yuck more ugly and fat fans in aew.
Hope when tv comes casuals replace them.
>deanetty is in both
Hard pass
>First big PPV of a company history
>RAW
It's the same shit. Only difference is their ages.
>The chad Moxley
>The virgin Dean
Unbreakable had one of the greatest matches of all time so that is automatically better. But I guess you could apply that to a lot of Styles gems (for WWE too lol)
EDRONES OBLITERATED LMAO
You know it's fake right?
So a dying Omega is what makes things have soul?
Why is their layout completely the same as WWEs?
TNA had Angle, Joe, Styles, Low Ki, Sting, Jay Lethal (in his ony worthwhile incarnation), based as fuck Nash comedy segments, Christian, serious R-Truth, SCOTT STEINER COMPLETELY UNLEASHED and more shit to name.
If you honestly think this is better, then you are crazy.
I loved a lot of that. The Unbreakable Triple Threat and The Angle/Joe fued was my favorite. If TNA had the backing financially that AEW has I feel like they could have competed better when they went to Spike. I do genuinely think DON was that great, but it's up to opinions. I'd take someone a lot more seriously if they said they preferred something like Unbreakable 2005 or an older BFG over it though. I feel like most people calling them TNA 2.0 are salty modern WWE fans who don't realise how good TNA used to be before they went to shit.
>. I feel like most people calling them TNA 2.0 are salty modern WWE fans who don't realise how good TNA used to be before they went to shit.
I don't see how you could deny the similarities, from the money mark owner living the dream of daddy's money to the absolute carny at the top.
Everything smells of TNA.
Soul vs. Soulless
Someone please turn this into a Tom Holland glasses on/off meme! I'm on a phone. :(
I agree except that Sting always sucked ass in TNA. I know he was a draw, but he dragged down the main event scene the entire time he was there.
the AEW cap looks like it is from an ECW One Night Stand
One is written by an old man who hasn't done anything other than sperg out over his own shitty company for 40 years, the other is the dudes doing what they want.
>Moxley is actually dressed like a wrestler instead of just wearings jeans and a tanktop, Jericho is wearing tights instead of trunks
>Ring looks much better than WWE's
>Fans are actually excited to be there instead of just sitting down waiting for the show to end so they can leave
fixed, just imagine omega as dolph or some shit
Its almost like good writing and story changes everything
kek
what do you even mean?
WE production seems to think making everything a bright, loud color makes things better. Those new digital posts and canvas with displays are fucking eyesores.
Context.
>Logo on the mat
>Camera angle makes them look bigger than they are
>Bottom looks super sterile
>The ropes
I didn't even watch last night and top really takes me back to a better time.
the Canadian boy in the purple tights laying on the mat in the top pic is the reason user.
Honestly, because one has stakes and is going somewhere, and the other got lost in the shuffle of inconsistent WWE booking.
AEW isn't the company relying on the box office draws of old men.
>top
>everyone in the audience raising their hands, most of them standing up, smiling and taking photos
>Dean is allowed to be more expressive, and more "creative" with what he wears
>ring has something in the middle filling up the giant boring white space, has black ropes to contrast with the floor.
>bottom
>everyone in the audience just sitting down with a neutral expression on their face
>Dean is generic loonie tongue man, wears generic wife beater and jeans
>everything ring related is white, white floor, ropes and corner posts
hey e-drone don’t forget
>product is better
I thought AEW’s lighting was nearly identical to WWE’s. Minus most of the LED garbage.
This picture (along with Hogan pushing Flair in a wheelchair) are two of the most saddest wrestling related images ever
He says unironically, after celebrating a former game show hosts victory over the guy who is supposed to be one of the greatest of all time according to meltzner.
AEW pubes showing how stupid they really are.
>WWE gave us the same exact feud years ago, but it's just better in AEW
>Dean is more expressive
lol...he ran into the ring and did some moves, but somehow it's different
love the aew aesthetic. lighting in the crowd was terrible though.
Yeah the red lights on the audience reminded me of Raw
The lack of tarps really adds to the ambiance of the match.
AEW pic literally looks like WCW circa 1997. Fucking crazy.
Moxley literally isn’t going to fued with Jericho though, it’s gonna be Kenny
>AEW pubes showing how stupid they really are.
> >WWE gave us the same exact feud years ago, but it's just better in AEW
> >Dean is more expressive
> lol...he ran into the ring and did some moves, but somehow it's different
B-but Mox only did 3 wackylines and 5 double underhook DDTs. That's w-way different e-drone!
WWE is stale
>black ropes
FUCKING THIS. Harkens back to the 2000s wrestlemanias
Nigga did you just say production design is fake?
It just feels completely different. Its not artificial or predictable like WWE. It's a feeling. The atmosphere adds to it.
I love the view from tv with all the smoke from the pyro.
COPE
Yeah the smoke really adds to the look. Doesn't look so clean and sterile
Based soul stealing Chioda.
WWmemE's presentation is absolute dogshit. Look at that lighting and those white ropes.
I stopped watching anything outside of Youtube clips 5 years ago. It's astounding to me that there's anyone still watching the full shows, subscribed to the Network, buying tickets, merch, etc. What the fuck is wrong with people
Damn Jericho is fat. did he prepare for the show? or did he spend the last 6 months eating at diary queen and drinking miller lite?
YIKES
i honestly don't understand how the wwe still has fans. i'm kind of a lapsed casual fan and wasn't really expecting much from the aew ppv. but i was extremely impressed, it completely shit on the last 15 years of wwe
so what you're saying is that AEW are going to be getting a million viewers a week and international tv deals around the world?
>years later
>same amount of baldness
the top is: "holy fucking based! the amount of potential match ups in that image is astounding!"
the bottom is: "what's the point of cheering them? Jericho will leave eventually and if Dean gets too many cheers again Vince will give him a dancing gimmick."
it's nice seeing a crowd without that queer in the green shirt
the camera had a lot of reaction shots of fans. it was not based. they also had some quick camera cuts. Not based. felt w bit wwe lads. Apart from some cunt cutting a pint of blood out of his body
You say that like it's a bad thing
t. person who actually liked and misses TNA
WWE is so culturally relevant it's always going to be popular, until there's a wild shift in the product that it ceases to be what it always has been, people are always going to be fans of it.
MOST people buying tickets aren't casual fans, they are just people going to see a show because there's nothing to do on a monday or tuesday night in whatever city it's in.
rode the subway with him from brooklyn to manhattan. Nice guy
>wild shift in the product
The product has been undergoing a slow slide downward for a decade. How much of a shift do you think is needed for people to jump ship?
