Diehard Attitude Era fans have been waiting for this since 2001.

Everyone vs WWE.

This pissant company is dead by next year, mark my words. Then you'll come crawling back.

>implying many of us even still watch wwe. i havent bothered since 2013

>crawling back to somewhere we never were

As the negroes say, you shook.

>you'll come crawling back
>come crawling back
>crawling back
>back
there are a number of us who never watched in the first place after wcw died.

AEW hasn't even won me over as a viewer and I'm still glad they're around to at least scare Vince a bit
Just like it did before, competition will force him to actually put effort into his product and booking

I'm still waiting

It won't.

looking back at it, the attitude era really was cringe. the booking is exactly the same as it is now with heavily scripted promos and guys reciting lines and waiting turns to speak. they just added some blood, swearing and titties

Vince is so far removed from competition and creative thought that he couldn't react rationally even if he tried. WWE is absolutely fucked. Most of their talent doesn't even want to be there. No one wants to go there.

>looking back at it, the attitude era really was cringe.
nope

Do you honestly think that it will though. I think he might be to old and set in his ways to change now. The best hope in my mind is the xfl will distract him for awhile and maybe then things will be better

I've just been sat in my room for the last 18 years waiting for wrestling to be good again.

Thank you Cody for making it happen.

E-Drones are in full fucking cope mode today.

Yes it was

Unironically this, I think we need a Testimonial website for all the people who have been waiting years for salvation. There are 27 million of us.

>booking is exactly same

Lol just no. It was written like a tv show, not booked like a wrestling show. We have not seen such depth in storytelling with tons of backstage and out of arena angles and segments with multiple stories threading through the show not just in rasslin matches.

>we want Night Train and Lodi matches

>27 million 30 year old + virgins holed up in their room with pictures of half-naked men on their walls

>the peak of wrestling was cringe
Says a lot about this hobby you have

>Lol just no.
>We have not seen such depth in storytelling
>that spacing
thanks for stopping by.

I said unironically this, not literally this. big difference

I don't care what website he came from, he's right.

Well yes I actually hate wrestling, I'm actually here just for the /esg/ threads

I was a WCW mark from 1990 until they closed up shop. Hated Vince, hated the WWF, but I have to admit that 2002-2005 WWE was pretty based, and some of the characters of the Attitude Era were great.
But the MNW were a long fucking time ago and I don't really give a shit about the ghost of WCW getting its revenge or whatever. If AEW can push the WWE to be creative again, though, that'd be good.

>being so underage you think multi decade old double spacing is reddit spacing
>being such an idiot peasant you dont know what double spacing is
>shit posting and trying to look meme cool and instead outting yourself as a dumb underage

>I have to admit that 2002-2005 WWE was pretty based
It was the drizzling shits compared to 97-01.

i'd venture to guess i'm the oldest user itt my zoomer friend. if you were old enough to have flipped channels between nitro and raw you'd know i'm right. the neutered version you get to see on the network and the fact it isn't live taints the experience for you. on some level i actually feel bad for you that you didn't get to experience the monday night wars and now have to talk out your ass on a cambodian funnypaper forum.

>crawling back
>back
>b a c k
lmfao someone tell this guy about the ratings

nigga you retarded

ya worked? ya seethe?

You know what's really weird though? The AEW fans aren't talking who won and the future of the company going forward. Like they're not even remotely invested in the company beyond it existing as a foil to a company they felt did them wrong.
Makes me wonder how tenable the promotion is once the honeymoon period wears off.
