Am I the only one that thought the show was actually really underwhelming unironically?
>Shitty royal rumble, fine, royal rumbles usually suck
>Western women match was mediocre, nothing too horrible
>Joshi match was good, but ruined by the referee botch/the guy on the bell duty
>Cody vs Dustin the best match of the night. The blood here was a key factor. It's a feud that involved blood, that involved decades of "resentment". The match was a bit sloppy but overall it was great
>Young Bucks vs Lucha bros. Nothing with Pentagon and Fenix will ever bore me but the young bucks are literally gymnasts with nothing else. So many years wrestling and you still have 0 impact in any move you do. How is this possible
>Omega vs Jericho Man, what the hell happened here? "This is awesome" chants? This match wasn't even 1/10 as good as their match at the tokyo dome. Hell, this felt like a RAW match at best. Sloppy, botches everywhere, bad timing.
Moxley against Omega for 3 minutes was miles better than anything between Omega and Jericho.

>leaves out the SCU vs Stronghearts match because he knows it was fucking based
OP sort yourself out, please
Feel however you want dude but I can't help but notice your whole review is based solely on workrate and shit. I think what won people over was just the excitement and the feeling of importance that most wrestling is missing. Alot of things actually felt like they mattered and were 'can't miss' live moments like Bret Hart showing up, debut of the belt, the MJP or whatever dude coming out and the feeling that there was a new big heel getting heat, Page storyline, Rhodes storyline, tag announced, once in a lifetime Joshi shit matchup, Moxley showing up, hunt for the title, etc... Let alone the fact that it is a brand new promotion and we are all watching to see if it will sink or swim, and what WWE's reaction will be.
Yeah I pretty much felt the same. I think you needed to be caught up in the emotion of the occasion or whatever.
>Joshi match was good, but ruined by the referee botch/the guy on the bell duty
Why are people so autistic that they keep pushing this? The bell botch lasted literally 3 seconds and affected nothing.
My bad I forgot about that one. Good match, Scorpion was the best guy out there.
Stronghearts were fucking based, but can someone explain the appeal of Christopher Daniels to me? i've always thought he was a shitter and his performance in this match just reinforced it for me
The novelty of it being a new wwe competitor will wear off the same as it did for every other wwe competitor and then what are we left with, "work rate and shit".
You've worked yourself up big boy for nothing.
It was about on par with the average E PPV (and that's a good thing)
>Am I the only one that thought the show was actually really underwhelming unironically?
It was but people are desperate for something new.
