The joshi match was fucking fantastic as far as women's wrestling goes. Emi did the right thing and looked like a jobber so that Aja and Yuka could look powerful, and Riho looked like a huge star. Nobody buckled to the pressure, no huge botches, just a great match.

I was nervous af that they might spill the spaghetti. I mean it's not like NXT where they all practice some match to have for weeks. They all just came the US like two days ago and put together this match. But they did very good. Riho took some mad bumps. Everyone got their shine. If not for the timekeeper totally goofing up, the match would have been absolutely clean.

If you’re familiar with their work you’d know it wasn’t anything special. They did a normal “everybody get their shit in” house show match. Don the get me wrong sometimes those matches are the best because the story overtakes he moves. The Japanese don’t do title matches every show and are great a 6-person tags.

Their trainers--no Emi, Nanae, Chigusa, Meiko etc. to train girls in the US
They work matches weekly--Western female promotions, all 3 of them, run a few times a year
They have a culture dating back decades that the west doesn't have
They had major league women-only promotions that the west has never had to draw from that can teach the new generation proper wrestling and not indy stuff
Lots of them didn't grow up wrestling fans so they don't pick up the bad habits that marks do
