The recent Korakuen show was the first show I watched in a while (like since Toni started her reign of terror before going to WWE) and there was just nothing about it that impressed me. The roster just seems dull and not all that interesting and it's like they want to simultaneously be serious and light but don't really have the ability to pull off either well.

The faction shit is dumb, especially when it's all done via yearly draft instead of just naturally falling into place via actual storylines and feud with real heels and faces (though lack of proper heels is a problem with modern joshi in general).

Momo is definitely not ace material and I have no clue why Rossy thinks she is (unless he's fucking her or something) because she looks weird, isn't anything better than above-average in the ring and isn't particularly charismatic. Arisa should probably be the ace if she can develop more in-ring since she has the other two parts down.

Stardom has been the most popular joshi promotion in the West for years now. They also far out draw any other promotion in Japan. It's hardly flavor of the month when it's had the staying power for years now and continues growing. Every joshi promotion has something to offer. They all have at least a few great talents not including the many good freelancers. To write any off completely isn't a practice I'd recommend to anyone who wants a full experience of what these women are doing across the Pacific, and it's unfair. Take a look at whats out there then you can pick a favorite if you like or just follow the wrestles you like most.

I was told this by one of the people who works for Weekly Pro Wrestling (Shukan ProWres) magazine in Japan during Mania weekend as we were discussing STARDOM's popularity in the states. This isn't surprising since the Japanese aren't all in on subscription services as a whole, they're not even really into TV subscriptions (cable/satellite). Ask Sonny, he'd probably say it's true.

But it does give foreign fans the distorted view that STARDOM is seen as the reigning king of joshi pro wrestling, when really it's just another player on a pretty even field.

Bea is confirmed for the show. They could have her have a defense there that could draw people to Stardom.

He had better opportunities presented to him in the past that he passed on. He's chosen poorly with who he has partnered with in the US.

The broken ring, bad sound and shitty lighting had him fuming enough. They also bought travel insurance for all the girls, which was smart as a major serious injury in the USA would have bankrupted STARDOM, but couldn't have been cheap.
