Despite his sign Johnny is one of the best today. If he was a foot taller, he would be main eventing at Mania or at the Tokyo Dome. It's actually quite sad that someone with that much talent you know will never get over as much as he should.

He's the opposite of what a wrestler should look like. This isn't even about him being short.
Rey Mysterio is short but at least he has a gimmick that sells.
Bryan is short but he doesn't look like a GI Joe doll someone's scribbled facial hair on with Sharpie.
Andrade is short but he looks stocky and masculine.
Balor is short but the demon thing is over as hell and his entrance isn't completely cringe.
Gargano is just cringe personified.

From a technical standpoint he's good but he can't change gears like the best and the guy has absolute no charisma. To me he's a bootleg version of Bryan when he was in RoH.

Rey not only was better than Gargano in everything(on his prime) he was also much more charismatic.
