You don’t know this because you aren’t trained but a facelock is pain compliance technique where the inside blade of the forearm is leveraged under the check or between the jaw or across the bridge of the nose, usually by a figure four RNC grip or a gable grip. It’s a legitimate technique (Nurgadomedov basically tapped McGregor to a facelock). But it’s a different technique from a front headlock, which is the catch wrestling term for what BJJ calls a guillotine choke.
