how do i ding-dong diddly post?
Juan Jones
Shawn for not drawing a dime
Hogan drew dimes so he's exempt from blame
That's how wrestling works. If Benoit drew dimes his family would've had it coming
Benjamin Nguyen
this was a chance for hogan to redeem himself and he shit all over it. but you never disrespect the business like shawn did that night, if it was 10 years earlier, everyone would've been livid backstage.
after this night hogan cemented himself as one of the biggest self-marks in history, even long after it was time to tone it down.
the same bullshit happened the next year with randy.
Elijah Kelly
>but you never disrespect the business like shawn did that night
Hogan 100% ding-dong diddly deserved it
Adrian Gray
he deserved it in the form of getting blackballed by the boys and vince telling him to go fuck himself, not making a mockery of the business.
Christopher Moore
Based.
Jacob Turner
Shawn Michaels for never drawing a dime, posing in sissymags and inspiring the current crop of wrestlers killing the business.
Levi Jones
>in the form of getting blackballed by the boys and vince telling him to go fuck himself
Don't be silly he's Hulk Hogan that would never happen. Shawn did the next best thing and had the pull to not get absolutely destroyed in the back.
>making a mockery of the business.
Son the business has been a mockery since the attitude era with worked shoot works and wrestlers going "off script" story lines kayfabe was long dead at that point why not oversell for some self mark jabroni like Hogan?
Xavier Ortiz
Nobody, the match was fine.
Anthony Lewis
Both for not being professionals and thinking they're bigger than the business that made them
Luis Walker
there has to be a line.
if it's not in your main event, then where? where do you allow yourself to go "ok. we're not doing that shit in our biggest match?"
i despise hogan, but you just don't do that in a big match like that.
Jeremiah Scott
>650k buys
based hogan drawing all the dimes and out-politicking that faggot HBK
John Butler
How in the fuck did Shawn get away with making a mockery out of the main event of WWEs second biggest show?
Oliver Baker
This is 2005 Hogan, no one gave a shit except boomers.
James Jenkins
Vince once dubbed Shawn as the #1 greatest WWE Superstar of all time, and dubbed Hogan #23. That should say it all right there
Owen Bell
That's Shawn for ya. Still bitter his early 90s championship run didn't draw dimes and almost sank the company. Still bitter he wasn't there for the attitude era. and Still bitter he barely sniffed the strap when he got back.
At the end of the day, he's still jealous of the 16 times champ Triple H.
Cooper Foster
Vince or the writers of WWE.com?
Lincoln Bell
That top 50 rankings had a whole DVD based around it
You think all that happened without Vince's final approval?
Colton Foster
youtube.com
just watch this shit, vince and shawn were obviously lovers
Jace Nelson
I believe you, I just didn't know what you were talking about.
Landon Watson
Shawn tried to out-politick the GOAT politicker and got worked.
Thomas White
at the end of the day, Hogan is a broken down old man with no friends.

Christian Carter
>no Giant Baba
>no Antonio Inoki
>not even Ibushi or Nakamura
this list is an absolute pile of shit
Samuel Ward
>no Inoki
Yes user this list is missing chin very much. Fucking bunch of chinlet faggots.
Juan Murphy
Ultimate Warrior must’ve still been on the shitlist if he couldn’t crack the top 50.
Brody Reed
Big Daddy Bitch blown the fuck out
Brandon Morales
I honestly don't understand how the fuck they put this list together
At first I thought it was solely based on who showed the most company loyalty (which would explain how Carder and HBGay are the top 2)
But then Kane is at #43 and he never went to another company; meaning he should have at least made the top 20
And then Harley Race is at #6 despite being a literal who to people nowadays...and Steamboat is above Andre?
This shit honestly seems random as fuck. Hogan, even with all the bullshit he pulled with Vince and leaving the company several times, shouldn't have been out of the top 20
Jeremiah Mitchell
it came down to who the current (at the time) roster respected the most
Camden Baker
>Mysterio 9
>Race 6
Everyone in the business has a good thing to say about Kane.
Luis Nguyen
Race is HHH's favourite wrestler of all-time, remember.
Cameron Russell
Where's Kevin Nash?
Ayden Wilson
He's on the list underneath all the blacks.
David Anderson
Orton had a wellness suspension before SummerSlam '06, so there's also the potential of the company giving one extra punishment to RKO.
Brandon Powell
Shawnetty.
After all these years he honestly thought that he was an actual draw and should've gone over Hogan like the Rock did, but he HBK was just Vince's cumrag. WWF ratings were getting killed by WCW when he was Champ. Austin and Rock literally saved WWF/E.
Lucas Martin
I just watched a compilation of this because I had forgotten and holy shit when he takes the big boot and gets back up just to lay out I was fucking crying. Holy based lads Michaels is a god.
Dylan Brooks
Both were.
Hogan was a faggot for politicking their program from 3 matches where Shawn goes over 2/3 matches.
And Shawn was wrong for not acting like a professional in their match.
Benjamin Carter
From what I understand the matches were supposed to go Hogan/Shawn/Hogan but Shawn first politicked it and changed it to Shawn/Hogan/Hogan, but Hulk knew Shawn was likely to get the first win and then run to Vince and get the rest cancelled. Either way, Shawn had to learn the hard way that there are wrestlers even he can't outpolitick.
