WOR: AEW is plans on featuring Joshi wrestlers the same way WCW featured Mexican wrestlers

>Kenny Omega came up with the idea. He decided he’d scout for Joshi talent, and feature them on AEW the same way WCW featured Mexican wrestlers. This would give AEW an identity of its own, and fans would see a style of wrestling they haven’t seen before

Because if one thing doesn't tank the ratings it's women's wrestling.

so AEW is a joke after all

>When asked for clarification regarding his earlier comments about move damage and wins and losses, Cody responded by saying "Yeah, so when we're thinking about a direction, we're thinking about who we're building and where they fit into the atmosphere of AEW. Think of it like Dragon Ball Z - Yamcha didn't just go out there and take on Perfect Cell. It's all about power levels and getting over the stature of a wrestler on the scale of said power levels.

>Kenny Omega came up with the idea

this is what happens when you let guys that get constantly dropped on their head do any thinking

>AEW is plans on featuring Joshi

Ok, so AEW is doing Kings Road style
Booking. AJPW did that back in the 90’s, and to be honest. Stan Henson went over 100% of the time in the 90’s. It’s a good idea.

E-Drones ARE AEW fans

That's not King's Road. It's the exact same as what every other wrestling company does presented with numbers because AEW fans are brainlets.

>Wait do people think this is a bad idea? This makes perfect fucking sense

It makes sense because it's what already occurs in wrestling. AEW is just going to bolster it with statistics because they understand they share a fan-base with WWE. A fan-base with double-digit IQs who need everything elaborated for them.

How is it not Kings Road? You learn the match up the more you fight and eventually work your way up the ladder.

That’s exactly what was just described in that green text.

That’s how it used to be done. The IC and Television/US belts were stepping stones to the heavyweight belts. Rarely did anyone leap frog, unless they were a previous champion.

It helped make sense of things.

This absolutely does not occur in WWE. Reminder that The Shield, a group WWE regularly says is the greatest faction of all time, had to reassemble to so they could defeat Braun, Drew and Lashely. 3 midcard shitters and even then they still struggled to get the job done.

King's Road was a tiered match formula wherein wrestlers used progressively greater moves building on past encounters and constantly evolving their arsenal.
Nothing there says anything remotely close to having that degree of formulaic progression. He simply words it nebulously for the sake of saying it'll give greater context to the talents and their positions on the card. Companies already have midcard, lowcard, uppercard and main event acts. This is just going to be statistics in order to bolster that.
Every wrestling company has some manner of tiering system to allot their talents.

So you're saying that main eventers beat midcarders?
Sounds like they got over their placement in regards to the power levels and the scale of it. Woah, that's just like King's Road.

>that one E Drone ITT who’s being worked into a seethe
