look at all those drapes Steamboat isn't a draw

Which one? Weren't there multiple matches?

I've seen very little from before 2008

any of them past attitude era nobody in this board has seen it. i bet not even half the people in this board even knows who Brian Pillman is.

I have. They were shit.

Wasn't that Jerry Lawler's son's nickname in the locker room back in the day?

>implying
They're great and hold up very well. Just like AJPW stuff.

Ive seen Chi Town and WrestleWar

I have not. I am a 27 year old boomer and it was before even my time

I was just about to I swear.

I saw it live in Chicago, you stupid zoomer. I also saw Superclash at Comiskey Park live which featured The Road Warriors vs The Fabulous Freebirds.

Just watched it and Dave gave this shit match 5 stars? no wonder Okada and Kenny got 6 stars

Based Zoomer admitting to his underageness

I have though, I've even seen some of their rare matches from the 70's.

Is it the chi town rumble one where steamboat taps out for like 20 seconds, but that was before tapping out was considered a submission finish? I laughed my ass off watching. Based trilogy

Admittedly no.
Most of the old shit I watch is pretty much exclusively Mid South.

I have though

I watched the one that was on that one Ric Flair DVD

Why do wrestlers hold hands like that? I keep seeing Shinsuke do that in his matches

fuck me thats the best post ive ever read on Yea Forums

Its from Greek wrestling as a show of might on who is stronger between the two

Was that before or after they fucked each other in the ass

me on the left trying to touch that guy's ass

I saw the one with the dusty finish where Flair got his foot to the ropes. It was comfy and I found it pretty easily online.

I've never really noticed it up until I saw Shinsuke doing it. You could be fucking with me and I would be none the wiser, but that would make sense.

You're right

nigga steamboat flair is some of the greatest battles of all time. To this day I regard steamboat as the most pristine example of a baby face. Steamboat's heart against flair's arrogance is timeless.

Flair's matches are always the same
WOO
CHOP
WOO
FLOP
WOO
CHOP
WOO
FLOP
WOO
LEG LOCK FOR 15 MINUTES
DOUBLE WOO

End

I did when I was doing my WrestleMania's watch party with some friends, we only got to WM 13 before getting bored

i don't watch much olden days wrestling but i actually have seen a couple of steamboat v flair matches, and they are actually based. a rare example of pre-attitude era matches actually living up to the hype.

GOAT

those greek guys were homos who would suck each others dick after the match

based

Old wrestling matches do not age well.

kek TURN IT UP

I saw the one with Meltz in the front row marking out

ewwww i can practically smell the ding-dong diddly stench of /wew/ on ya

fuck prick fag and cucky the fagon steambitch lmao

I saw about 5 minutes and then fell asleep

They had a trilogy of matches in 1989 which I just re-watched actually that lots of people consider to be the best Flair matches of all time. It's easy to see why since Flair and Steamboat had amazing chemistry. Even by today's standards these matches hold up extremely well; especially the first match in the trilogy.

My favorite one is the episode of WCW Saturday Night where they wrestle for 3/4ths of the show. Somewhere in July 94 I believe.

Bafed

I've seen at least 4 of their matches. Flair mannerism are the best in the business EVER.

These matches sucked. Flair always had the same shitty match every night. That's why Ole had him made NWA champion, so he wouldn't kill his territory by having the same match every night. Flair was horrible and the Steamer wasn't much better.

All I remember about Steamboat was when Savage jumped off the top rope with the ring bell. I was a kid and really thought Savage killed him.

I'll admit, I've very little 80's wrestling in general.

>These matches sucked.
I'm not even a Flair fan, but you're a fucking retard. People who have no love Flair have said those matches he had with Steamboat were great.

Ole didn't.

no. the match is like 30 mins long. not gonna watch that fake shit

Do you watch MMA?

1. Chi-Town
2. Clash
3. WrestleWar

It was actually 25 years ago this very day.
May 14, 1994.
