>Magee was the victim of an assault in front of his home in Mar Vista California in May 2018. He suffered a broken jaw, broken eye socket and concussion. According to a neighbor who was an eye witness, six men who were involved in the assault were kicking him, punching him in the face and in the head.
THEORY: Magee leaked the tape to sources online a year ago, Vince found out about it and sent 6 of his best big men to rough him up for doing so. This documentary is WWE's damage control filmed over a year
Jaxson Cox
kek what a bitch
Kayden Flores
Can someone give me a rundown? What's this all about?
Owen Robinson
Very short answer: Vince thought this guy Tom Magee was the next Hulk Hogan. He had a match with Bret Hart and it was so fucking bad that Vince was SEETHING to the point that he has tried to delete any evidence of that match ever happening up to this day. Someone on the internet found the match like a month ago, and now WWE is releasing a whole documentary about the match.
aka Vince was seething for decades because he was wrong.
Aaron Perez
Tom Magee was brutally raped in the mild Spring of 2018
Justin Wood
it's an apparently great match that convinced Vince that Tom Magee was the next Hulk Hogan because Bret carried him so good. It's been "lost" since its release and is the most infamous lost match ever. It was found recently and Conrad was going to play it at Starrcast per WWE for them pulling his talent out but now they've gone ahead and are playing it first to screw him again.
Dylan Sullivan
Shame the sweltering heat of 92 completely destroyed all those Nash tapes.
Carter Murphy
>LOOLL!! TAKE THAT CONRAD AND CODY! WE WON! WE WON!! XD
Faggot.

When did Conrad announce he was going to play it? Because it seems like this doc was in the works as early as the HoF with all the people they are interviewing.
Jose Sanchez
late April
Chase Davis
Late april, I think. There were talks about it going on the network before that.
Asher Carter
That secretary was a qt in the past.
Lucas Foster
Now I know why this was in my feed all this week. Oh well lets see if its really 5*.
Jose Peterson
HA they got the girl who found it
also kek at sam roberts saying "WWE" were wrong about him & not just vince
Landon Bennett
god damn Brett is great
Cameron Butler
Bret is still one of the best performers I've seen in the ring. It's just the small things he did in the ring and his technical proficiency. His style was never flashy but I had fun going over some of his catalog.
Xavier Ross
Yes, X-Pac. It would be interesting to have Tom Magee at a meet and greet. Maybe even a Q&A.
Jackson Bell
>that fucking sweater
Nathaniel Harris
Getting a real gay vibe from Tom Mcgee here.
Juan Ramirez
He so small
Adam Anderson
He's such a nice guy

Jason Martinez

Gabriel Reed
That one guy just flipping Bret off amused me.
Josiah Cooper
well he would probably look different today if he stayed in the wrestling business for years
Jason Adams
I'm not able to watch right now anons, but after the full match airs can we get opinions on how good the match was by 80s standards vs. today's standards?
Hopefully the match hits the interwebs within the next hour so I can see for myself
Luke Gonzalez
This makes RAW look like shit.
Charles Ortiz
so Tom Magee was a flippy shitter
Christian Clark
I hope so, that's the only thing I'm interested in when it comes to this
Blake Nelson
this dude is what ricochet should look like.
Eli Miller
This is a good ref.
Asher Rivera
Tom Magee was based as fuck wtf
Jaxson Hall
>Bret's selling
take notes current shitters
Connor Wood
Fuck bros I think I'm looking at the next Hogan.
Leo Rodriguez
Glad Bret ditched that weird swagger thing.
Jace Barnes
Holy fucking shit
I honestly can't blame Vince for getting fooled by this match
Tom is doing MUCH better than I expected
Andrew Moore
kinda looks like a taller Omemega
Lucas Evans
wait that's it
Joshua Hall
It was a pretty good match. Bret made him look like the next big thing, now I have to go look at some of Tom's other matches to see if he was really as bad as people say he was.
Colton Myers
Fuck I wanted like a self destruction of the ultimate warrior type burying of the guy on why it didn't work out. They left out all the interesting stuff at the end. Clearly just meant to btfo conrad
Owen Clark
that was good. Don't blame Vince for getting fooled, I would have thought the same thing
Nicholas Brooks
>ya seethe
it's GOAT heel work. max reaction zero effort. you're lucky he didnt do the italian finger thing.
Wyatt Price
I can see what the hype was about. This match is atleast 5-10 years before its time.
Kayden Murphy
I was expecting Ultimate Warrior level garbage from this dude. He was out there doing some flippy shit. Now I feel bad for mocking Vince; the guy really did look like a high-potential star in that match and not solely because of Bret
Matthew Evans
It was a very basic midcard match, you could tell McGee was a bit lost when taking the offense on how to pace the match, but Bret lead him through it and made him look good.
Julian Wood
he's gay, right?
Brody Reed
the crowd was into it. I feel like Vince honestly hates wrestling.
Luis Flores
>WWE'S MOST INFAMOUS LOST MATCH
Royal Rumble 2004?
Benjamin Howard
I can agree. The selling was good from both of them but Tom was clearly uncomfortable with most of his offense. He was better at flipping then headlocks. That being said he may have just needed more work before being the main event. Bret definitely lead that match to be better then it deserved to be.
Juan Rivera
ironically guys can be in nxt or developmental for many more years than their worth. Seems like they gave up on the guy too quickly
Bentley Martinez
That was a pretty good (although nothing really amazing) match by 1980s standards
Elijah Miller
about to ding-dong diddly cum
Nicholas Perry
Some guys can never get past that level. Sad but true despite how we can all have our favorites that never get the call up. I do believe that Tom was ahead of his time in terms of athleticism. Where/when he was they just were not sure how to use him to the fullest advantage. He may have never been Hulk Hogan or the Ultimate Warrior but I can see him with the IC Title during his active years.
Aiden Brown
Anyone know would've been in charge of the filming on this? There's no way this could possibly be a Dunn Production.
Ayden Gomez
Why did he leave? He was on track to be one of the best ever, but he just leaves and nobody knows why? At all? I'm suspicious.
Connor Hill
To quote Cornette, all sizzle no steak. He had the look, the build, and athleticism, but he could not wrestle. He needed to be carried by his opponent/heel. Not every heel was going to be Bret Hart.
Kayden Nguyen
with the talent available at the tim, i feel if you couldn't do an insane memorable promo, you couldn't be top guy. It wasn't til Luger that someone could get by on just looks.
Ryder Sullivan
he never got any better
watch his later matches on youtube and you'll see he never really improved
Kayden Howard
Father Time was not kind to him.
Robert Garcia
he doesn't look like he's 80 and about to die
Levi Lopez
Didn't say that Bret looked good, either.
Gabriel Brown
A cursory search of google and youtube doesn't show any of his promo work. Just his few matches. Just him psyching himself up at a strongman competition and nothing else. He doesen't seem to have been in professional wrestling for long and he also looks to have migrated a lot during his tenure.
Xavier Robinson
Hold on. I thought that twitter roastie already shared it. What happened?
Mason White
She only shared a few images and like 2 gifs of it due to fear of getting sued
Thomas Barnes
Stop projecting LMAO
Benjamin Ramirez
crigne
Jonathan Allen
Getting a real gay vibe from user here.
Colton Roberts
Giancarlo Dittamo, the Joey Janela Spring Break guy, was the producer according to Twitter.
Grayson Rivera
they just gave luger the reigns treatment. push it cause we've got no one else. Tom looks more jacked than luger and his hair was better too.
Levi Gray
give me sauce brother
Julian Gonzalez
The WWE Network
Jonathan Foster
Why did he completely stop hitting the weights? Wasn't he a strongman before wrestling? Did they mention what he's been up to besides getting his ass kicked over a parking spot?
Anthony Lewis
this is wrong
this is right
Jose Bailey
So Tom's a lock for the next King of Trios, right?
It's a superb American 80s 9 minute match. Bret made Tom look amazing.
Henry Cooper
based and truepilled
cringe and falsepilled
Isaiah Cox
What's the current place to watchwrestling so I don't have to bother with that free trial shit
Grayson Butler
dot co dot in
Tyler Smith
>watching a match from fucking 30 years ago with a jobber
really
Andrew Lewis
Bret lost, so you're implying he's the jobber in this scenario.
Mason Torres
Magee also had lost footage of Deadie Cuckerro from 89 so six bad hombres tuned him up, stole the tapes and shot cum up into his ass.
Andrew Moore
