Wrestler Silver King dies in the ring during a match with Juventud Guerrera (R.I.P.)

Bruh....this gotta be one of the worst in-ring wrestling deaths I've ever seen in terms of how it was handled & medic response time
Everything that happened after Juvi kicked him was some bullshit. He was still moving around a fair amount up to that point, so I can understand Juvi and the ref thinking he was just disoriented/hurting a bit before he could catch himself and finish the match
But after that.....shit:
>deciding to still do the pin when it was clear by that point that something was horribly wrong
>taking 30 seconds to decide to do the damn pin instead of just doing it immediately then calling for medics
>the fucking retard ref pausing for 5 seconds after the second count before dropping the third count, instead of slowing the third count down slightly and just accepting the pinfall if Silver King didn't kick out
>JUVI CELEBRATES FOR A FULL FUCKING MINUTE AND A HALF BEFORE THE REF DECIDES TO CHECK SILVER KING AGAIN
>then two other random faggots who may or may not have been EMTs, finally jump in the ring to check Silver King after all of that
>Juvi, like a complete retard, then signals to the crowd to cheer in support despite the fact that Silver King gave no indication that he was still conscious/moving
>Over 6 minutes after he stops moving, Silver King is still in the ring, laying in the fucking recovery position as if they just saw him fucking seizing instead of laying still as fuck

Video?

No-one cares go cry on twitter.

youtube.com/watch?v=l_ktCD3K9Hw

Yeah, someone definitely needs to get sued over this. Wow

Rey...Juvi...

Trump was right.

Fuckin fools

"the show must go on" user. these dudes know what they signed up for. it is what it is

Jesus Christ. I clicked this video while trying to think up a joke reply. Then I actually WATCHED the clip. This is fucked up.

carnies gonna carny

The show can still go on while also making sure the wrestlers get immediate medical assistance when something goes wrong
The show went on when Lawler dropped, and thanks to the fast response he didn't die, plus the show was still held together (although barely)

i watched the video, what do you expect the ref to do? silver king was already dead. they dont have revival powers. this isn't a fucking video game.

>doesn't turn over when prompted
>doesn't kick out when meant to
>lays perfectly still
>Idiot ref still doesn't realize something is up
What a fucking retard

>Makes a 10th thread
Catalog going over on this jabroni

That ref is retarded...
Like I understand following ref rules but what the fuck is up with that slow count?
Silver tiger or whatever his name is was probably supposed to win
Least he died doing what he loved.
Rip and God bless man.

No matter how dead a person appears to be when they go down, you still should have medics/docs respond as fast as possible. It's not only out of respect but also you never know when they could make a difference and still save the person
Plus If they can't save the person, they're still the ones who'll have to officially declare the death and the time it happened

you can't just stop the show like that user. time is money and if the mf even so slightly looks dead/incapacitated they're damn sure gonna finish the god damned match and eat the pin. this is sports entertainment not fuckin ballet

everything that happened after that three count was inexcusable

Holy fuck the absolute state of bingo hall promotions

Nobody has died in a wwe ring in 30 years.

But this is now the third (THIRD) outlaw fed wrestler to die in the ring in 1 year (the guy rey mysterio killed during the 619, silver king, and that blak guy in ROH that landed on his neck)

>that blak guy in ROH that landed on his neck
source?

>Nobody has died in a wwe ring in 30 years.
>Owen Hart died May 23, 1999
>Being this much of a brainwashed e-drone

Fucking REALLY?!

1999 was 40 years ago

Black terry was the ref...

Sorry boomer, the 90s were 30 years ago.
Its almost 2020.

youtu.be/d3K7kXlfNLI

He died for about 15 minutes in the hospital before being resuscitated.

Dont know if that counts, but it sure as shit counts for me.

From everything I've heard Juvi is a bit of an airhead but you can't really blame him for this, you can see how he keeps looking at and gesturing to the ref for help/info and he gets nothing. He clearly didn't want to turn him over and get the pin, hell he could barely move SK since he was literal dead weight. The ref standing there like a 2K AI ref is the key issue with the whole thing, not only was it his responsibility to check on King but it was also his responsibility to explain what the fuck was going on to Juvi so he could try to improvise/stall in a natural way. It's a masterclass on what NOT to do as a referee.

gave his life for a hotdog breh...

no way this was a brit ref. It was as spic ref. if a U.K. ref fucked this up badly, that would make WWE un-easy to work with U.K. promotions.

Ref was a spic.

rip silver king. May you deal with less mexicans and brits in the afterlife

rorrr

>Juventud celebrating bigly like he just won the world title when he knew damn well something was legit wrong with the guy
MY SIDES

Nah, I heard he was given a snickers as a signing bonus when he returned to action.

>All those angry Spanish 'referi' comments
Fuck getting sued, that ref is going to get legitimately killed from the looks of it.

99 was 20 years ago you retard

Egos huh hahah

Gotta kayfabe it brother

Worst. Referee. Ever.

Pero que le paso? No se ve como que fue un golpe que lo mato

>kys
Pot, meet kettle

He was trying to not expose the business

>yeah
>wow
>the same as an abbreviation telling people to commit suicide
kys redditor

He fucking did it anyway when he went back to check on him

BOOYAKA BOOYAKA
KILLED A GUY

Is John Oliver going to make a big deal about this?

Paro cardiaco carnal

That's gonna get a "yikes" from me, dawg

Plus why would you stop the show for somebody exposing the business like that?
I understand you are busy dying and whatnot, but that doesn't mean its appropriate to break kayfabe in the middle of the ring like that.

Why are you just making shit up?
That had nothing to do with ROH he was wrestling in an armory for Beyond wrestling.
That was over 7 years ago, not within the last year.
The guy didn't even hurt his neck let alone die for 15 minutes, he had a hairline fracture in his skull and was back to wrestling within a few months,
huffpost.com/entry/charade-wrestler-injured-fractured-skull-head-donations_n_2078860

Referee needs to be brought up on involuntary manslaughter charges. His actions directly led to that man's death. Juventud should possibly also be charged with criminal negligence. Juvi has been around the block and knows better than this.

youtube.com/watch?v=yKfPL-C47Mg
This version is longer and you see the moves that led up to the collapse.

It was probably that senton at 2:27 right in the heart that did him in, he seemed fine before that, but he let out a pretty guttural grunt when it hit him and wasn't moving very well afterward.

He probably felt something wrong after that senton but still pushed through and did the sequence up to pinning Juvi
After that his body started failing him
A true wrestler to the end
RIP

no

You can see here that moment after he slumps over and the fans are clapping for Juvi's comeback, Silver King while at the edge of consciousness (and life) starts kicking the mat to their rhythm for a few seconds before he dies. Like he's honestly trying to take their energy and get to his feet. It's one of the saddest but most kino bits I've seen in wrestling - wouldn't have been out of place as a shot in the ending sequence of The Wrestler.

LITERALLY WHO?

Why are people trying to blame Juvi when it's not his job to control/stop the match, or break kayfabe by immediately showing concern for his opponent?

is that really him???

Not to mention he does communicate to the ref that something's wrong pretty much immediately, but all the ref does in response is that 'get up' hand signal over and over. That's as much as he could do without annihilating kayfabe, which to be fair is what a veteran like Juvi is trained to avoid doing.

Can't be that big of a literal who if WWE acknowledges his death and calls him a legend
twitter.com/WWE/status/1127396468413927424

THIS IS WRESTLING *CLAP CLAP CLAP*

You'll only see this level of incompetence in outlaw promotions.

Black Terry is a Mexican, retard

RIP silver king wcw, rey wagners brother and ramsies from nacho libre.

As garbage as that response is, the dude had a stoke and a heart attack at basically the same time. He had no chance.

He was the one who played Ramses, the bad guy from Jack s black Nacho Libre.

Attached: 270f1b01072910f2d93e967af58b6bb3.jpg (624x352, 25K)

yeah
but people who never watched Lucha are going to blame Juvi and Black Terry (imagine).

Rest in peace, Silver King. A true legend.

>Owen Hart died 20 years ago
>Perro died well over a year ago
>last guy didn’t even die
Holy fucking brainlet

Based Juvi maintaining kayfabe. Gotta be a professional

WWE should throw a Referee Symposium Mania weekend for all the indie refs in town to help show them how to keep they're guys safe, helping them spot emergencies and what have you.

The jury will just award his family a hot dog and a handshake

He had a stroke and then a heart attack

>work in a bingo hall for a taco and a handshake
>have a heart attack
>bingo hall promotion is so inept it takes like 5 minutes for them to get you some medical assistance
>die
what a shitty way to go

KILLED EL PERRO

Guy was in distress before he collapsed. Probably heart attack

It was not handled well at all, but would the five minutes have made any true difference? From what I saw in the reports he died fairly quickly

Come on guys don't be too mad at the ref. The dude has a mask on, therefore there is no way that he can see the guy's eyes to see if his eyes have turned to x's. No mask and he would have seen that and immediately known.

Fucking spics

This is all sorts of fucked up. This would've never happened in WWE. Bush League Indies should be illegal.

RIP Silver King

Attached: orangutan_square.jpg (600x600, 42K)

Was that vickie guerrerorro at the end?

Youre forgetting that death match guy who bled out and died.

Juvi knows how to protect the biz, unlike that loser rey. Vince should bring Juvi back and give him the strap.

Maybe if this happened in America, you think mexico gives a fuck? Ref probably be beheaded soon anyways

BAN MASKS NOW GOD DAMMIT!!!!!

It happened in London, he'll be beheaded under Sharia Law inshallah.

Sauce?

holy shit that ref is an absolute retard. nothing else to be said.

my apologies, praise be to Allah my brother

I haven't seen a Mexican face such injustice since Eddie Guerrero in the summer of 89.

>wrestle in a bingo hall for a hotdog because you wasted your life savings on coke and underaged children
>die
What's wrong with mexicans? Is it the drugs and corn or are they just retarded?

They are a mix of retarded Spaniards and retarded natives.

The referee didn’t do anything wrong. Silver King shouldn’t have wrestled if he was ill. Juventud was trying to remain professional.

I have AIDS and I still wrestle all around the country.

>b-based wwe only making you a cripple for life instead of straight up killing you!

Fucking e-dronies

it's just trolls

hi CAWdy!

go back

rent free

So you're every black wrestler ever?

Ah, this guy!

>first Rey
>now Juvi

why all the wrestlers killers are always mexicans?

can't wait to see how the media try to pin this on Vince
>former WWE star Juventud Guerrera kills another wrestler in the ring

>still thinking kayfabe is a thing

>in 2019

Still a bad look, though

Mexico is a pretty fucked up place but when it's this blatant you will still have to face criminal charges.

He should have just immediately rolled out of the ring and called for the EMT. He was there backstage when Villano IV broke his neck.

What about the promotion that didn't have an ambulance or doctor on standby?

kek

>Juvi kicked him was some bullshit
Can't blame him for that. He probably thought King was selling. You're right about the response time for medical help though. No excuse for that. He may well have lived if he got the proper attention right away.

Seething outlaw autist taking everything literally

Still 3 more than the E in 20+ years

RIP El Literallo Who

I hope Juvi gets tried for manslaughter.

Gotta protect the business.

wtf check this out guys

Attached: hm.png (1846x177, 38K)

but they cancelled the show after that so

The fucker jinxed us.

>it's the drugs and the corn.
malnutrition cause brain damage equivalent to mental retardation. Mexicans raised in the US are normal height and don't have that glassy eye look.

>Droz
>Tyson Kidd
>Paige
>Alexa Bliss
WWE has ended more careers in record time

Literally who?
That's right. No one, absolutely no one gave a fuck. Nor should anyone give a fuck about no dime carny shitters.

not true... the thread about silverkings passing was up about 30mins before this kid made his thread about nobody dying in the ring.

when this happens in WWE. the end the match in kayfabe immediately. usually the person is only knocked out but it's still way better than trying to still get over with spots.
they should do this all the time. it would make it look legit. Both fighters should get atleast concussion checks (pupil dilation, eye tracking). If they are fine and want to look strong, they could get physical with the medics. It's also an excuse for backstage segments, if they have to get checked out in the infirmary. It would make more sense than having a random cameraman wandering around backstage. Infirmary promos are great.

>has heart attack
>goes into cardiac arrest
>possible to save him with CPR
>nothing done

You're a fucking idiot.

Guess his hot dogs and hand shakes will come directly from God almighty from now on. Just kidding, you all know it's a work right?

Careful that ya don't cut yourself with that edge there pal

But Silver King has drawn more dimes than any of the WWEshitters put together.

Attached: wrong.jpg (962x698, 217K)

who the fuck is silver king?

ignorance isn't something to be proud of.

Attached: 585cd5e93dd92.jpg (800x445, 44K)

use google and you will know

>when this happens in WWE. the end the match in kayfabe immediately
Exactly
Even during worked injuries/conditions, WWE ends the match as a no contest or a decision win for the opponent (e.g. Shawn Michaels falling out during that Raw match with Owen Hart, Austin passing out in the Sharpshooter)
I can't believe these dudes saw Silver King not moving at all, and still did the pin and full celebration sequence for Juvi

I am just a normie passing through but you people realize its fake and they are just 3 actors doing a skit out there?

1/10 bait

>I am just a normie passing through
Return to reddit, normalfag

Yes we know you're a stupid faggot no need to point it out

k, cool, thanks

Juvetun gurero mark piece of shit, he we to business for himself. He knows the man is down and he is celebrating his fake win jesus fucking christ. I hope he gets erased from our business.

cringe and rent free

He is celebrating to distract the crowd

He wasn't 'ill' coming into the match
Dude was moving around that ring just fine up until that Senton splash fron Juventud

LEL...distract from the man who is clearly in the ring in front of everybody not moving at all?

At least they are alive and rich.

No he is not, he is celebrating because he won a fake win. Fuck this carny, he should stay away from our business

Also he is a gureriro like eddy, i bet he knows or heard of heart attacks so he has no excuse for celebrating.

you know the that the worked kick is a way to check to see if the other dude is hurt or not after a spot without yelling out ARE YOU OKAY BRO? if the other wrestler sells the kick he's fine

of course the guy wrestling in his fifties with heart trouble bears zero responsibility for this situation

If the ref can’t revive him then why is he even there moron.

imagine being the rando brit watching this and thinking to yourself boy i wish giant haystacks was here

I thought DDP was going to enter the ring at 4:50.

He didn't hit him with the 619. He was already dead from the drop kick.

some lucahdors work until their 60, because of the rolling bumps they do in mexico and change their wrestling style as they age.

>and rich
doubt it

>guerrera
>guerrero
Not the same you simp

Shit like this will continue to happen while the wrestling industry remains carny and unregulated outside of the WWE. Dangerous pieces of shit like Juvi should have been driven out of the business a long time ago.

He supposedly quit for a while and was a DJ for a few years.

a mask really can help some wrestlers, huh. I was a big mark of SK back in his WCW days tbqh

Attached: silver king.jpg (480x360, 13K)

Explain to me please how it is Juvi's fault that Silver King had a heart attack?

it’s not but he should have taken the lead to get SK some help when it was obvious the ref was in over his head

he kicked him while he was a having a heart attack and instead of helping him he celebrated his “win” also he didn't seem concerned at all. Piece of crap like him should stay away from our business

this is what happens when you wrestle in a third world

No, but there was clearly something very fucking wrong when the guy just fucking stopped working and became complete dead weight. That could have been a red flag that it's time to finish the match right now and get the guy some help, not try to continue getting my shit in, then finally pin him and then celebrate for minutes while he remains motionless in the ring with no one helping.

Juvented, a long-time veteran, would have understood something was wrong, but he did nothing. He was more concerned with putting himself over than his partner's welfare, which is why he shouldn't be in the business.

Contrast Juvented's reaction to his opponent not moving to Mysterio's reaction to Perro doing the same. Sums up the difference in professionalism there.

>didn't seem concerned at all

Spics don't care about the lives of others. Compassion for others is not a value most non-white races posses. It's also, ironically, the trait that had lead to the downfall of western society.

To be honest more matches should include the loser dying.

that's all well and good but you should still be keeping an eye on your blood pressure at that age

>/pol/tards

Just go back and stop stealing Yea Forums memes

I mean, Juvi sits there trying to roll the guy's body over. He can clearly see something is wrong, because his opponent just collapsed randomly and is unresponsive dead weight. So, after he finally does get him over the pin, he doesn't check on the guy, he doesn't tell the ref to go get someone or get someone himself. No, he celebrates, for minutes, while the ref standa there holding his dick staring at a corpse.

Why didn't anyone in the Donkey Position call to the ref to end the match?

Attached: 1304457314077.jpg (250x252, 6K)

In the late 90s as a kid I preferred Juvi over Rey as my WCW cruiserweight favorite
I was a little salty at first seeing Rey go on to have major WWE success while Juvi came in later on and fizzled out with the Mexicools shit. But I understood that the same reason why WWE said they fired him, was also basically why he never reached the career heights Rey did while having comparable in-ring talent and arguably more charisma
Juvi was just an arrogant airhead who was blessed with wrestling talent and a better mask

Juvi is a veteran and should have seen the signs that SK wasn't right and had the match ended quickly and then gotten him medical attention ASAP instead of runnin around celebrating like an idiot.

This reminds me of the time Jericho ended that match with Neville. Jericho did the right thing here.

youtube.com/watch?v=XEY4BltxsjU

A lot of the blame for this has to be at Silver King

>why didn’t he signal to the ref he was in trouble?
>why was he wrestling in the first place if he wasn’t fit?
>when he was laying down why didn’t he tell either of them he wasn’t feeling good?

Juventud tried to keep the fans cool and distracted while the referee was clearly confused by Silver King, credit to both of them for being professional and seeing the match through

lmao, I thought all companies used the squeeze my hand if your okay thing

La Parka was the GOAT. Fuck Rey and Juvi.

Attached: LAPARKA the chairman.jpg (637x358, 75K)

>everyone always uses the golden "the show must go on" rule in wrestling
>the situation finally happens
>people bitch because they followed the rules

That guy had a mask on and was probably talking saying he needed a minute, it's idiotic to judge this situation without talking to the red.

still the GOAT

Attached: laparkvsbluedemonjr.webm (550x298, 1.66M)

Wrestling needs the following banned from in ring competition immediately and across the board

>people over the age of 50
>people who are noticeably overweight

Sure, people will never get KO Vs Taker, but I think it's worth it to protect them.

We should also ban retards like you from internet and here you are

I agree with the over 50 thing. Not really because of safety though, because, hey shit happens anyway. Benoit, Owen, Eddie, none of them were even close to 50 when they died. No, I hate older wrestlers returning because that shit is embarrassing and sad. Look at Taker, he noticeably HOBBLES to the ring now, and that match with Reigns at Mania a few years back was just horrible. They guy was stumbling and botching all over the place. I used to be a total Taker mark, but now I just want him to go home. GO HOME OLD MAN!

As long as it wasn't Silver Potato

After what he and his people did to Bruiser Brody... good riddance!

Based jericho still putting neville over. Thought for sure jericho was winning with that roleup

>telediagnosis
Fucking just kys

30 is the new 20

It’s a work ya simps.

Yeah, but did you die? Oh, you did. F

>why was he wrestling in the first place if he wasn’t fit
My nigga, do you know how many current active professional wrestlers this question applies to?

>Silver King while at the edge of consciousness (and life) starts kicking the mat to their rhythm for a few seconds before he dies. Like he's honestly trying to take their energy and get to his feet
God dammit, why did you have to point this out for me
Now I actually feel sad after seeing it

Jesus fuck that had to hurt like hell

Ignorance of what? Everything? How do they grade this? I'd believe it mostly but Russia and Mexico are a bit more ignorant than that I'd think

Both La Parka and Juvi were based; why can't we agree to that?
youtube.com/watch?v=z9aOc9qxlKg

Ref needs to choke on a hotdog for that bs he did

>people who are noticeably overweight
No way
I want my Vaders and Bam Bams, dude

Am I a pussy for not wanting to watch this?

You mad, frijole eating brownshit?

It's nothing really graphic (other than suddenly seeing an active masked man no longer moving)
The shocked replies are over the extreme ineptitude of the referee in that type of situation, and the amount of time it took for medics to get to Silver King after he was clearly in need of emergency help

If you have a shred of humanity left in you (most anons on here don't) the clip will bum you out a bit, I won't lie

That pause during the 3-count was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in professional wrestling
I thought it was a special referee match for a second. What the fuck was he thinking

>no one cares
>almost 200 replies
you failed, sir

Anyone have a video of it?

Okay retard.

read the thread, man

lol dead taco

Nah WWE refs just fuck up Wrestlemania Moments.

I have no idea who this guy is but he deserved better than this

I'm sure the Brit ref will be watching the seas for angry Mexican wrestling fans

He died doing his craft. We should all be so lucky. With any luck his last moment he heard the 3 count. Pottery

Man I feel better about the terrorists now. They just die doing their craft. Thanks for this user.

>the ref not realizing something might be wrong
>Juvi fucking KICKING THE GUY

Attached: 1448258916036.jpg (276x305, 28K)

Abbie?

What the fuck is wrong with the ref too? He tried to directly talk to the guy who was clearly unresponsive even at that point. Then he didn't call for help as juv celebrated??

>anyone beating Japan.

The very idea.

The guy is clearly literal dead weight yet they take forever to help him. Dumbasses.

London is third-world?

>ref's extended pause during the three count
FUCKING CRINGE

Rey was a likeable good guy with cool masks, who did flippy shit and was like a superhero role model to kids
Juvi was a hateable egotistical guy who stopped wearing cool masks, who also did flippy shit but was basically just a drugged-up idiot and shit-starter outside of the ring

Medics never got to him. They didn't have an EMT at this event those are just backstage morons who have no idea what they're doing.

It has been recently
