Gargano has a great everyman look, incredible charisma, is in touch with pop culture (likes marvel and lego for example) - he's WWE's best chance of hitting the main stream again.

I like Johnny but he's too small. He's too much of an underdog in that situation, his charisma is so-so. He's a good storyteller and that scenario would be good for the IC but he's not Bryan, AJ, not even Finn. BTW being a midcard champion doesn't mean being a loser unless he's a mark himself, you can have great feuds in the midcard. He'd be wasted on 205 but that doesn't mean he needs to be wwe or universal champ
