Ryan Satin: Rollins title run already expected to end at Summerslam

>According to sources within WWE, Seth Rollins reign as Universal champion will likely end at Summerslam.
>Discussions were held about Rollins dropping as early as MITB to AJ Styles but Vince believes AJ has passed his prime as a main event champion and wants him to settle in a Shawn Michaels type role, something AJ is also keen on due to the reduced dates and pressure.
>The current plan is for Seth to carry the belt to Summerslam, likely feuding with Styles and a potential triple threat with Styles and Brock Lesnar in Saudi Arabia before dropping the belt at Summerslam, likely to Daniel Bryan.
>Higher-ups including Vince really enjoyed Bryan's heel run and had Kofi Kingston not taken off like he did, Bryan would likely still be WWE champion. Vince wanted to turn Bryan into a long running mega heel and still seems set on that, with Bryan potentially winning for an eventual showdown with Roman Reigns.

Mania to Summerslam is a pretty standard length of time for a champion, that's a respectable run.

YES!!!

That’s standard, OP. I wish it was shorter

>Another heel run on the universal belt
Cringe. Reminder that heels have held that belt for 19 of the 22 months it's been around.

Why can't WWE make babyface champions work.

about 15 of those months were brock which is about 4 hours of content

Smarks hate faces I don’t see why WWE should bother

>muh smarks

Who's going to be the next big face on RAW then?

Name one face world champion fans didn't turn on.

>with Bryan potentially winning for an eventual showdown with Roman Reigns.
Yeah what can go wrong here?

Dbry, Ortons most recent run, AJ, etc

>we hate Roman
>Kofi sucks now
>AJ is overrated
>fuck Becky
I also didn’t forget you faggots disliking face Bryan before his heel turn. If Miz started a world title push you’d dump on him.

This

>>we hate Roman
True
>>Kofi sucks now
>>AJ is overrated
>>fuck Becky
????

If DB is a draw than how come smackdown ratings have been tanking? His appearance didn't even save raw

>no source
>not a single user questions it
lowest iq board

Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, The Rock

Literally the biggest stars in the business

Should be Joe.

Worked and seething

>Orton
No one wanted Orton as champion to begin with, but that was at least better than Jinder Mahal for most people.

>AJ
Everyone was calling it "AJ's reign of terror"

>i was only pretending

>Dean shitting on the WWE and the Shield will have repercussions
>Jasethy will be pushed aside for an old man
>Roman will turn Daniel Bryan babyface and will go back to being booed to oblivion again

Wait are you talking about actual fans or your internet echo chamber? It seems like you're literally getting worked by Yea Forums

To bad ya seethin ass can't pretend to seek sunlight and get a ding-dong diddly clue

>Everyone was calling it "AJ's reign of terror"
>everyone
What the absolute fuck are you talking about?

Roman versus Bryan and Cena were the low points of his career, Vince never fucking learns anymore. Nothing ruins the whole fucking show and turns off viewers than a guy going over someone who is in plain fking sight running circles around him on the mic, in-ring, with the crowd and drawing power. Literally fkng nobody wants to see Roman go over in one fking try over the guys they see as the actual heroes with his shit finisher.

>Everyone was calling it "AJ's reign of terror"
That was only people here and we shit any everything

>Cena
>It's called a promo son if you want to be the big dog you're gonna have to learn how to do em
>S-shut up John!
The most buried Roman has ever been

it literally says the source in the title

muh smarks are the only ones who pay for the product ya inbred sack of shit

He had the highest rated segments then they used SD to build the Women's Main Event and he lost the title and has been off Smackdown when the ratings tanked, ratings aren't out for his RAW appearance and he wasn't advertised as well, it was Roman. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was the top segment as it was the biggest event and he saved it from disaster with everybody else stumbling and mumbling on the mic.

Yea illegal streams cost a lot of money that wwe gets

Are you even following the conversation, kid?

Everything in WWE is tanking because 95% of the show is fucking awful to sit through. WWE doesn't make draws anymore, they make the brand the draw. And right now the brand is in the gutter and the TV show is terrible.

ya so called antismarks are the ones who watch through illegal streams, smarks are in the attendance and spend money on the wwe network

Yea Forums is not representative of the actual WWE fans user

nah Roman vs Bryan was a good feud with a lot of heat

It just ended like shit with le handshake when it should have lead to Roman vs Bryan vs Brock at mania

Doesn’t Ryan get more stories wrong than Meltzer

>I'm gonna beat [opponent] at [event], and then i'm going to BURN IT DOWN!

He's so awful. It's an embarrassment to all of those who came before him that Rollins is the Champion.

No one gives a shit about Miz. Only asp since they empathy with midcarders for life.

it's an embarrassment to Kevin owens and Finn balor?

Roman vs Bryan 1 was decent so I might watch that

based

Bryan might actually be able to drag a good match out of a geek like Seth for once.

YAAAASSSS QUEEN SLAY

Maybe if WWE learned how to book a face championship run.

Yeah, what's this "already" shit? Pretty normal. A lot of times, Mania champs even lose it before SummerSlam.

>Why can't WWE make babyface champions work.

It's how they built the whole house they're living in. Long babyface title reigns = the home team winning all the time = audience satisfaction (provided they like the top babyface).

It worked for Hogan, Bruno, etc. Times change, but the principle of sending the fans home happy is pretty universal.

>Goldberg was a face

>but that was at least better than Jinder Mahal for most people

Imagine being this gay. Jinder was fucking awesome as the typical "foreigner heel." Only marks like you who don't understand the basics of wrestling hated him.

When was the last time WWE booked a face champ good? Seriously, all memes aside. Are we talking like as far back as Bret Hart or are there recent examples?

LMFAO.

Hogan was regularly turned on in the late 80s-early 90s. The heel turn saved his career.

Rock was booed too. Even against HHH as a babyface he was booed.

>PPV where Brock always wins is happening
>Brock literally only ever has title matche sin the past 6 years
>S-seth is gonna lose it!

Yeah and Sarah Logan is a viking fan, user.
Oh and water is wet

This isn't news. It's common fucking sense

i was wondering if AJ was guarnteed a universal run since vince likes him but i guess not from the looks of it

I don't think AJ cares about titles at this point.

>had Kofi Kingston not taken off like he did
Yep. Kofi is really helping ratings.

Because a weekly wrestling show works better with heels as Champs. Back on the MSG supershow days of old WWF had face champs because they did mostly monthly shows and no weekly storylines.

>Yeah, what's this "already" shit?
OP trying to set a narrative but being shit at it

Heels are a draw. Nobody cares about boring babyfaces.

>>AJ
>Everyone was calling it "AJ's reign of terror"
Nigga Yea Forums does not represent internet wrestling fans let alone wrestling fans in general. This is a place to shitpost about wrestling and be contrarian for contrarian sakes.

This is made up btw

Yes

No, we’ve just been watching wrestling for longer than 5 years so we’ve seen heel champions done 1000 times better, but people who could actually cut a promo without their voice breaking.

Literally couldn’t draw flies to designated shitting streets and had to put over HHH in India
