No WWE can easily justify it
>we were trying to help Saudi change to a more tolerant, liberal, diverse society by bringing our progressive American product to them
Nah, if you were ranking the most morally repugnant things a wrestling company has ever done, this probably doesn't even make top 20.
Dave "My good friends the young bucks drew the biggest rating for AAA just don't ask anyone with access to the real tv figures because they'll deny it" Meltzer
why does meltzer seethe so much about saudi arabia like wrestling isn't full of just as bad stuff if not worse
I would definitely chalk that accolade up to Davey boy deciding to become a full-time "Wrestling know-how" speak for the rest of his life
If you're not at war with a nation you do not treat it as such, you have to unify your position or you just come off as spotty and inconsistent and they won't learn anything. WWE pulling out from their deal would do nothing to impact the situation as long as we have other longer standing deals being held up, and we do, and Donald is a slave to hideously rich foreign ministers so it's going to be another year minimum before any real progress would be made, enough time for another GRR and massive payout or two
yikes
Part of his thing is taking down WWE a peg. He praises them, but he gets more money out of pissing on them.
And maybe this issue is really important for him? He is an autist, you cannot say what will trigger him.
