>Callis did want to use Elgin, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and perhaps others from New Japan, but New Japan told its contracted talent that they didn’t want them working for anyone that they saw as competition to ROH.
>Harold Meij isn't a cu
>..nt.
based honourable harold
Callis >Can we use Elgin and Davey Boy?
Harold >NO SPEAK ENGRISH!!!
>IMPACT BTFO
Can't wait for Cody to kill ROH.
They'll get rid of Davey Boy sooner than later considering he's signed to MLW and he also takes indy bookings in the US regularly
fuck ROH
hopefully. sick of him and lGAYnce shitting up BASED suzuki-gun
you everyone would love to"Use NJPW talent" they are considered some of the best in the world.
Problem is they already have an agreement with ROH and ROH considers impact competition .Im still surprised how good they have been to ROH since aside from CMLL they have a history of fucking everyone they work with
Also Davey Boy Smith Jr is with MLW and just has it that he can work for NJPW. it's the reason Killer elite squad is not on any ROH shows
FUCK ROH and FUCK NJPW management.
MLW contracts mean shit. Half of MLW talent is signed to AEW.
They are letting people finish the MLW contracts then they are done. People who are on both found out the MLW contracts are pretty much robbery
Imagine siding with ROH over IMPACT/AEW. This also guarantees that Callis is done with NJPW.
Go on...
And this is exactly why they will get rid of him
>MLW = cross-promotion with AEW = competition for ROH
Not to mention MLW contracts prevent you from competing in ROH and EVOLVE
So much for the NJPW alliance Cody's E-Drones were pining for.
They had meetings with ROH/NJPW during WK. ROH sees AEW as competition and NJPW is being cucked. It's not that hard.
>he still thinks NJPW will ever do business with AEW after AEW sabotaged NJPW's western expansion
>If you sign any Multi year pro wrestling contract that offers you $125-150 a match with a $25-$50 yearly raise per match, You were just worked by a carny
From Joey Janela around time he signed with AEW
You people forget that AEW took the Elite and best friends and offered Juice a contract
>Sabotaged
They could still work with AEW and have its stupid western expansion going.
Juice was a free agent like Sanada is (was). The majority of NJPW talent aren't signed to exclusive deals. Recently NJPW signed Chase, Juice and Ibushi to these kind of deals.
>NJPW doesn't want to play ball with others but they want to use others toys.
If I'm Kenny or Jericho I told NJPW to fuck off if they ask. Which is what Kenny's probably doing atm.
While a agree and this is more a problem i have with Trent(who had always been under contract and was always hurt) told Gedo that he would re sign when he was in Japan next only to tell Rocky he's not coming back at the US shows that was a super shitty thing to do. And i get he was looking out for Dustin,he could of at least been a man about it
no, user.
AEW sabotaged NJPW's expansion and NJPW will not soon forget it.
NJPW invested a fuck ton of time and money in establishing Omeg and he was the conduit to get exposure for NJPW in America. Then POOF he & the Bucks are gone. Next thing you know, NJPW has only 20% of its tickets sold for Dallas. But, yeah, NJPW is just fine and dandy with that.
NJPW will only do business with AEW if Kenny or Jericho puts over NJPW's talent soundly and does it in America, which will make NJPW look good and AEW look bad since America is AEW's home territory. That's just how NJPW operates. Look at literally any relationship they've had with another company, and there is one common theme: NJPW goes over and will squeeze everything they can from the other party.
Jericho only works for NJPW for the $$$ and more for helping Gedo out since he's one of his best friend.
They were presented with the alliance before AEW was made official.Their own fault.
To add to this Kenny told them he was staying at first. then went on WOR and spoiled shit for MSG and complain that they wouldn't book the freelancer ibushi in the main event of WK. he comes off sorta as a child
>Helping Gedo
>jericho said on the F4W interview that Gedo and him are on the same page yet they haven't talked since January and isn't to be seen on the build-up to Dominion.
Listen again. They treated him as granted and the offer wasn't as good as WWE/AEW.
Jericho is known for working the marks. he told everyone including dave he was done with NJPW after jumping Naito at new years dash
He fucking told them he was staying of course they treated him for granted
No he didn't. He let his people deal with NJPW and he realized that NJPW didn't wanted him as much as WWE/AEW did.
>alliance
user you still don't get it. NJPW doesn't view that shit as "alliance"
they view it as "we're the daddy, anybody who makes a partnership with us knows this. even if the promotion is bigger, we will then take our partners gimmicks and draw more money than they did with it (like nWo & LOS)"
>be NJPW
>try for years to expand to United States
>finally make gaijin talent that draws
>do good business in United States
>everything is going to plan......
>...until new promotion starts in United States
>this promotion is founded by guys who literally were just under your control
>the gaijin talent NJPW were relying on and invested in ups and leaves
>NJPW is left with nothing in regards to appealing North American talent
>NJPW watch as they can't give tickets away for the G1 in Texas.
Do you think NJPW is just shrugging their shoulders with how the G1 Show is tanking now that AEW took all their top gaijin talent? No. They're not cool with that.
A lot of you don't understand that NJPW is WWE East with their killer instinct with business. They're not going to bow down to Kahn/Cody. They'll work with Kenny again, but it'll be on their terms with Kenny giving Okada & Naitetty their wins back and they'll have him put over Ibushi again and they'll make him do it in America so the USA fans know which promotion is the daddy. I don't see AEW going for that at all because it would make them look like shit. Hence why this imaginary mark partnership between AEW/NJPW will remain just that: imaginary.
i disagree. CMLL and NJPW do give a fuck about each other. CMLL offered NJPW a full time luchador at the start of the year to help with the weak jr division like Mascara Dorada a few years ago.Sugabayashi said he would love to have had Dragon Lee in NJPW full-time, but he said that is impossible and they must worked out the dates since Lee is the champ now
>I don't see AEW going for that at all because it would make them look like shit.
and this is why every partnership between perceived equal wrestling promotions has literally NEVER worked and it always goes tits up because each promotion thinks they are the alpha.
At the end of the day, everybody wants their talent to go over and their company to be perceived as superior and the one to watch.
Find me a time NJPW hasn't had their talent go over soundly their partners talent. NOAH still hasn't recovered from the damage caused from their partnership.
Last time I checked, NJPW/CMLL aren't trying to set up shop in Mex/Jap. CMLL & NJPW coexist because neither of them are trying to get in each other's territory. But it either tried to seriously get established in the others market, that would be big big problems.
>BASED suzuki-gun
Suzuki himself will be fired soon.
>lGAYnce
nice
Kenny said he would work for NJPW any time and I think this year’s G1 could have him since AEW doesn’t start any time soon
Hes not killing himself on the G1 when AEW is having shows until the TV starts.
