Ratings are adjusted for the level of homes that have cable

Do you? Don't answer because I know you fucking don't.

>he still defends WWE in 2019

>Being a cable cuck in 2019

Why are 12 million people watching GoT live on cable then

This. Hell, why are more people watching AAA on cable? Shit sucks OP, stop rationalizing what's plainly obvious to everyone.

Ratings are down across the board on television. They're not down 25% overall and 30% in the 18-49 demo across the board. The average age of the WWE fan is over 50. The product is failing to engage the youth, regardless of cord-cutters or illegal streamers.

Good bait, user. Nobody is such a retard to really think that.

>it's the wrestlers' fault, not the writers!
I fucking hate all of you, neck yourselves

this has been happening since 2006 and streaming was barely a threat then

I could buy this justification. However ticket sales and merchandise revenue is down. People just aren’t interested in the E.

Yes cord cutting is a factor but WWE’s numbers are insanely bad

>not because of the increase in streaming platforms and people not watching cable tv anymore
Explain the popularity of Game of Thrones then
Explain the popularity of The Walking Dead
Explain how not only has NBA viership NOT gone down, but slightly up in the last year.

I'll wait

Do streaming platforms and people not watching tv anymore have any effect on show attendance?

Yes, but the last year WWE has slid quicker in lost viewership than is the norm anyhow. They lost like a quarter of their audience in that time frame. That's pretty alarming, even accounting for the streaming effect.
