It had a completely different dynamic in how things went compared to modern times... now it's just so boring for promos and mics and gimmicks... the matches are great and I feel that on some levels the matches are better today but in other ways not as good. Plus the intensity and the crowds and how hyped everyone got even for midcarders at times. You'd hear someone like val venis getting pops. Tho it still happens today I remember *probably wrongly* it being alot more vocal back then.

still enjoy modern wrestling but watching the monday night wars every week as it played out was just something amazing you had to have been there for. hearing about it just isnt the same.
